Baraat series? Azar, Dolly, Taka, Annie

Has anyone watched the baraat series? It's pure comedy and definitely a must watch if you wanna see more of the cultural weddings in Pakistan and lighter side of the difference between the the cultures.

Isn't dis series directed by Marina Khan? She is my fav. Also is she der in these dramas?

yes these series are directed by marina khan but she not acted in them. these series are based on love marriges along with there family stories & there marrige arragments with touch of humor
along with new generation actors ayesha omer,hasan niazi,natasha ali ,uroosa siddiqui
many pak veteran actors & actresses like bushra ansari,saba hameed,javed sheikh,samina ahmed
too worked in these series & specialy bushra ansari & uroosa siddiqui characters are worth watching

One of my FAVORITES. My husband and I watched Azar religiously when it first came out and after that, we waited eagerly for every single season. I don't think they're making any more, but I am holding out hope that it makes a comeback. :) Loved all 4 seasons!!

Apparently Geo didn't let Zindagi buy the Baraat Series or something.. controversy there... Vasay the writer was tweeting about it the other day.

dear I have posted a topic regardng this,i guess most people here didn't know about it yet.the baraat series are awesome.i love them.zindagi should definitely telecast the series.and marina khan is there in taake ki ayegi baraat just a small role of a doctor to whom rabia(saba hameed) goes with saima Choudhary (bushra ansari) for her treatment. Zindagi shouldn't miss these baraats and magic of saima Choudhary. I bet people will love it just like ZGH and Aunnzara.

thanks for the correction i've forgotton yes mahira khan played a short role in the series takey ki ayegi barat i wish instaed of yeh shaadi nahi ho sakti zindagi should 've picked doley ki ayegi barat

Zindagi HAS to air the Baraat series.

This series is hilarious!! It's really quite wonderful but most of all i think the Indian PHs could learn a thing or two from it about how to narrate parallel stories in an ensemble cast. Too many times i have seen brutal fan wars erupt on IF about how some characters/couples are given preference over others in a show and how the script is unable to create a balance between them.

The baraat series boasts of a HUGE cast and each and every character, whether major or minor, have their own story to tell. Every character is important and contributes to the story in one way or the other. A Must Watch! 👍🏼
