Paru - I don't know about the Indian laws since I currently reside in US to pursue my studies and as a matter of fact that in some states in US there are laws that dictate the live-in relationship. For instance, if you live with a person for 10 years and then decide to part ways you split everyting 50-50 and I believe it is called common law marriage. There should be something like this in India as well otherwise why would Suraj say that he would take care of legalities before they kick her out of the house and he wanted Ashok to make sure that whatever he does with her does not have any legal ramifications.

Seriously though, Ishra persuading Mihir to help Shagun will only create disruption to everyone. Ashok will throw her out than she will be homeless and a bigger headache for Ballas and I am sure one day in the future Ishita will regret being so mahaan.

This what I think is going to happen. I know Ekta very well. On the day of Ashok's and Shagun's wedding, Ashok will blackmail Mihika by saying he would destroy Raman's business or Raman's family if she does not marry him. Seeing Mihika's "Meri Jiju jhaap" these days made me come to this conclusion. Mihir will be heart broken and so will be Shagun. Then we will see two siblings crying scene in the rain. Then detective Ishita will find out why Mihika did this, and tell everyone. Raman will try his level best to get Mihika back because he will blame himself for ruining her life. Hopefully we will get an emotional Jiju and Sali scene then. Ishita and Mihir will blame Shagun, and Shagun will go after Raman. In the process, I think Mihika will try to change Ashok by showing him the light.
