Vikrant Massey, who played Ayaan in Four Lions Film's Qubool Hai recently tweeted about not getting his remuneration from the production house even after a year."1 year...No payments!!! No courtesy!!! The 4 lions hunt a pack of innocent professionals & savor a healthy meal... #worstnightmareever."
So we caught up with Gorky M - co-founder of Four Lions Films to hear his version on the issue. He said, "The kind of financial mess that we were in, it will take some time to come out of it completely, but things are getting better with time."
When queried about Vikrant Massey's remuneration, Gorky said, "Frankly, I am not involved with the day to day finances, but that may or may not have been the case. This issue was brought to my notice as well. In fact, we've been talking to all the actors but Vikrant saying something like this on a public platform took me by surprise. Again,I don't know the details of the issue,but I am assuming something big must have happened. Having said that, I also remember that our company had bailed him out a couple of times, when he was in trouble. Once when he was stranded at some place abroad; I forgot where exactly, we had helped him out. So if someone wants to resort to a public platform to resolve issues then it reflects more on him than us."
Well we hope the issue gets sorted soon and everything gets well between them. Fingers crossed!
