Superb update dear Aquiline... Loved the conversation between the General and the First Lady... General's dejection, helplessness and desperation was heart wrenching... No wonder Khushi's compassionate heart started melting upon seeing his distressed state...

After reading this chapter, today Im thoroughly convinced that he is not at all evil... He is just a victim of unfortunate circumstances... a fallen angel. A wonderful person with great qualities... but some accidental folly of him leading to his adversity... In his desperation to get free of it, he is acting all selfish, manipulative and reckless... not fearing to cross the thin line between right and wrong... I don't know about Lordy but this man is the perfect example for the SPECTRE...

@ The crimson augury... 👍🏼 Loved the chapter name... Just two words and it succinctly conveyed the intended... Brilliant.👏

@ The General was stunned by the sincerity in Kushi's gaze, wanting to really understand.

All of a sudden, the General felt unsure and he looked away.

Awww... his conscience is slowly awakening... Good for him and to all around. 😃

Hmmm... what does it mean? Was it about Lady Anjali's safety!!! 😕

So true... Fate presented both with almost similar circumstances... similar adversity... One (Lordy) is unknowingly trying to correct the root cause of his problem- rectifying and redeeming himself- learning the intended lessons... gradually preparing himself to be regarded worthy for a cure. However, the other (General) is seeking the short cut by trying to identify and make use of "the cure" without addressing the underlying problem which resulted him with a curse. 🤔

There is a verse in Tamil about the steps to be taken in curing any disease...

"Noi naadi noi mudhal naadi..." (Thirukkural)

The first step is identifying the disease, next addressing the root cause of the disease and then finally treating it with apt medicine...

But Rahim Chacha came in the right time... But does she need to know the reason.. or not... I guess if she knows it.. she may connect this to her husband too... She may know he might needs cure too.. She may come to know what's happening to him too...

Lin I am just thinking out loud.. That's it...

Auchi dear, I had already mentioned a million times that there won't be many ArShi scenes in this FF now onwards. I don;t mean to puncture your bubble of expectations but really this story has much more to do and deal with than just those two. In essence, its an IPKKND FF and not an ArShi FF. I am sorry it has to be this way but that doesn't mean the FF will be empty of them entirely. Chapters will come, ofcourse, with them; and some of them with EXCLUSIVELY them. But the future of the story is not about them alone like how it had been all this while...But I am happy to see you here and also glad to know you are anticipating the future chapters...

In the light of your comments, always favourite to me because of their utter honesty in expression, this particular comment however had me baffled. Baffled, because what I had not even had a slightest inclination to portray had been felt by my analytic anjs.

I wanted to admire your comment like I always did but I was also worried as to what may have triggered you to such a thought. Hence, I found myself returning back to the parchment on which the chapter in concern had been previously etched. Therein I found the reason which I believe, and may be true in believing, to be the reason for your displeasure towards the Kushi portrayed in it.

The detailed description of the General's "handsomeness" was mentioned right after Kushi's gaze on him was mentioned and you easily read it as her perception of his form.

In truth, it is my fault that led you to the disappointment of Kushi. Forgive me, dear anjs, for the fault lies in putting his description after Kushi's entry.

Let me assure you that General's handsomeness was part of the "narration" and not the "eye" of Kushi. I am sorry once again for having led you to this emotion in that reading of the chapter. I hope to rectify this disappointment in a future chapter, but for now, we have matters of more importance to attend to since Lady Anjali is going into labour.

This was again THE UPDATE. Lady Anjali loves Ram and no doubt he is adorable. Felt happy to see Lightening is getting healed. I guess if khushi had known Gen was out therr she wouldn't have come but this doesn't matter. Ok description of how Gen looked on horse was really good I ALMOST swooned there ALMOST then I remember its not my part its our Shassy's part to swoon on him but truly I liked Gen in this update. he appeared less evil or shld I say not an evil at all though he still has the same needs and his hate for the child but still. When he dismounted lightening I expected Khushi to leave gardens but when she didn't I got it why because it may have arisen suspicions in Lady Anjali's eyes plus she wasn't alone with him. Ah such a gentleman u r! Loved how Khushi denied it. But Gen didn't. Omg in his anger he put Lightening in danger n what was that a symbol to alert or something the red wine on Anjali's gown. So much like a typical Khushi she was worried for Lightening so much that she didn't leave the gardens to just make sure she is fine. Now the place where I felt Gen is not evil he saw Khushi's genuine want to know the reasons why only she can help and how n he first asked to leave. I totally understand Khushi here she is so innocent n pure heart she must b thinking to help Gen just for lady Anjali and also for him. Her goodness is not allowing her to leave him in such pain I just love her. Lin can't tell u how much I loved the update lots n lots of love for u my sweetie

@Ur reply no doubt n I love u for giving hight lights to these beautiful little events coz they help in making a big beautiful change.

YAY!!! Farwa darling is first after SOOO long!! And what cheered me was the return of your gifs to the Thread!! Your gifs had been regular gifts in the beginning days but after you got so busy, I got to see your chosen pics only when special occasions and party threads called for them. Again, your eye for detail, be it Ram saving Anj from a possible glass break, why Kushi didn't slink off when Genny approached the little audience, or why a character does something or feels something...Love you always, green heart, for being there for me and my tale!

You know, especially after Shas and Soul began to get so very busy with their hectic lives that they barely ever made it to the Inn, I had been sad by the thought that I'd go into my most important chapters while even YOU were not here, but then YOU CAME!! And I was over the moon! I so wish I could have all my other readers back too because the chapters I am giving now are all real important in the light of "culmination" "twists" and "closures," if you know what I mean.

Indeed scary update. I hope the baby is fine and I am worried. Anjali deserves better and I don't want her to have heartbreak. Where did this white parrot come from and what does it signify. In general white is considered as peace / joy / happiness. Does this mean baby will be fine?. I hope Arnav opens up more to Kushi and expresses his vulnerabilities. Poor boy Ram is so scared of hearing Anjali's labor pains. I am scared as well as hopeful for next chapter.

First I should talk about your response on my comment for previous chapter.. Whatever we feel about the story and connecting to the characters, it is because of your writing skills Lin. I am so overwhelmed for the love you are showing towards me and other readers. You are very sweet to respond for each and every comment.

Coming to the chapter... Yes.. Labor is a scary and at the same time a beautiful phase in woman's life. Not only her on the bed feels the anxiety and enthusiasm and tension... whole family who loves her will go through that roller coaster of emotions.. Here including the Ram and fortune also shivering after hearing Anjali's cries. Poor kid and parrot.. how would they know.. that those intense cries brings immense happiness and loads of smiles in their lives in few hours.

General.. ofcourse he is concerned for his wife.. he is a man afterall... but the scariness about the cursed baby is overpowering that concern.

Lordy said that he doesn't mind if Khushi stays with Ram... He changed so much... I am loving this Lordy so much and ofcourse I loved the Lordy before too.

Now all focus is about the baby... whether she/he brings the peace in General's life or he/she will be as he expecting... Waiting eagerly for the next update.. Lin...
