i dont like anyone in particular in II3

In II2 i really loved Karunya's singing and would wait to hear his songs like crazy.............i would replay them like 20 times and watch him sing amazingly well,totally in sur.

In the 3rd series, there is no one who sings totally in Sur. I mean Karunya was also only 17 but very matured and sang well, but who comes close now, tell me? Maybe Emon, i want one singer to sing in SUR totally without missing and also consistantly. I am not sure who would qualify. And the judges are also mediocre, Alisha only praises, Udit has no spine and just talks like a lay person, like one of us would and Anu Malik makes good use of his senoirity in the show by adding to the drama, he is good no doubt but a=slighly dramebaaz. I like Javed Akhtar, though he has limited knowledge of the music and sur, taal etc,

I miss Karunya singing and SOnu Nigam judging the song and giving his comments, that magic is missing. Why is karunya;s name not mentioned ever in II3? Is it cos he refused to sign a contract with Sony?

Good for you, if you don't like anyone on II3. I like Karunya too but life has to move on and we must appreciate the talent all these contestants have. Karunya is very talented and he is still my favourite but he is getting breaks in movies and Videos and stage shows. Now, its time to find more talent. Its entirely upto you if you don't like any of II3 contestants.

I think you are right on the money. Basically Anu's charisma is carrying II3. the contestants are just OK. None is a great singer except may be Amit Paul. There ages are too young and almost all of them cannot simply act as playback singers.

Remeber that an II is supposed to bring out ALBUMS..

No one is mature enough to be an album maker, a big wig singer. i think the judges this year made a big mistake by selecting these kids over professionals singers. Just look at Sa re gama and Amul voice of India. There singers aremuch much better and ready to be playback singers.
