Everyone does only disgusting things in this show. Durga has also chosen vigilante ways than go Sabrina Lall route.
Sakshi IMO is using Shaurya's own weakness against him. She has not made him believe marriage means one thing. But she knows he was marrying for that one thing only. She knows that thing drives him, his actions and he has huge ego only over that thing. She feels he is in trouble today only over that thing he does.
She wants him to face his injury and realise why he got into this in first place. It was due to bet to bed Durga.
Shaurya does not listen to her or Rajnath. Nor thinks why he is in trouble. Hence Sakshi took this last step.
Here motive is also to distance Shaurya from the same friend who he readily listens to. Shaurya should get angry with that guy.
Sakshi ATM wants Shaurya to drop idea of marrying Durga over this issue and stop dreaming of winning the bet to bed her - as this is the root cause of trouble in first place.
This is a step of desperation.
From thereon she thinks she might be clear, help Shaurya recover, hopefully Shaurya realises she is his only well wisher and till now he was in wrong company.
Sakshi wants Shaurya to base his ego over something else other than bed/bets.
She is using negative reinforcement now. Each time Shaurya's ego gets hurt, he will finally move farther away from that what hurts him and look elsewhere to boost his bruised ego.
That said Sakshi is overlooking the consequences of Shaurya learning the truth of her deal with Karan and Shaurya's behaviour once he recovers. She knows he hates to lose. He will go on a rampage to gain back his lost "glory" if he recovers. He will not tolerate Durga married to someone else. He has seen his father bed someone else's spouse. He is in habit of using others' girlfriends. Not a big deal for him to pounce on other's wife!
It is too late for Sakshi now. The time to tackle was earlier. Not now. Stopping marriage will only be like turning active volcano into dormant one. But that does not mean danger is gone as a dormant volcano can also erupt any time.
Disgusting was what Rajnath did to counter blackmail Shaurya to hide his own misdeed. At least what Sakshi is doing is for him and not just for herself. She is using his logic against him to make him abandon that logic finally.
