Why don't they work?

Parekh family's going through a lot. Financial problems are on the top. If they're really in such big crisis, why don't Ishaani's uncles work? Ishaani once said only she and her cousin are the ones who earn money. What about her uncles? Why doesn't Falguni work? She's well educated, if I'm not wrong, what makes her stay at home and argue with Baa all the time? Their problems can be solved but they don't work.

The whole family is good for nothing. I find the two uncle characters just jokers. except sharman no other person looks to be sensible.

As far as Falguni is concerned - nothing much has been disclosed about her qualification or past life. She doesn't behave like some professional or someone who has worked before.

Exactly my thoughts. I really don't understand why Ishani's uncle not working n not taking family responsibility. Even if her two cousins are collage going 'kids' but still they are grown up and at least do some part time work to earn some money but no except Ishani n Sharman all are sitting ideal at home doing nothing but dreaming about winning the case and getting back their property n status...

I hate such type of scenario where PH/Channel shows such dumb things without proper explanation so that they can glorify female leads.

i too thought the same. but i think they all were doing nothing for years only ishaani father and mother doing before. it will be difficult do job suddenly.
Another point they are just time passing because they will get the money once they win the court case, In this thought they may neglected to do a job

That's not the point, Shree. Getting job isn't hard thing when you've waited for two years and are already experienced in business stuff. Yes, that's just a time pass as all o' them are living in their dream land of getting their house back. I'm suprised at the confidence Ishaani stole the money thinking she'll get her house back withing ten days. Doesn't she know anything about the court?

I don't think it was shown anytime that any of the brothers were associated with the business and were helping. They are just henpecked husbands. Without proper qualification and exp its hard to get a job. As I posted earlier the whole of PF is being shown as a bunch of jokers / dumbos who are living in their fantasy world without having any real knowledge.

Harshad couldn't have done anything on his own. Ranveer indeed helped them, but the brothers of Harshad would have helped him. They were shown as jokers- indeed.

As we are discussing - I feel it is better for the writers to turn the show into a comedy for which the cast is most suited. The original theme is getting too boring and typed to stand.

Earlier Chitali had once told that if not for Harshad they would not have anything because the other 2 brothers are good for nothing CVs have not given clear explaination but I guess they are not educated much and to do small jobs must be against their status. They all are in a dream world that they ll get their property soon and will enjoy life. Atleast Prathik & Devarsh realized they are doing nothing and decided to help Ishaani.
