Sadly there is no buzz around the film so I would say No. But I hope it does well for her because she is doing a good film that will raise awareness. I have loved Rani's comeback films whether it was Talaash, NOKJ, and now Mardaani..she is selecting good roles and films.

Maybe if they commercialized the film a bit more it could do well...but if the script is really strong...like it was for NOKJ..it might do well with a good word of mouth.

Alia for what? HSKD, Alia sucked. At least I didn't like her. About Priyanka, gotta see the film first to judge. But its not about awards. Its about good challenging work.

I hope the movie will do well, I am so excited about the film. It is so my type of movie!!

Having said that, this won't put her back into the "game" because there is no game that includes older actresses. It is not about being forgotten or being underestimated. I don't after people watch this movie they will suddenly remember Rani is a great actress. In order for Rani to be back in the game the game needs to change. Different roles for older actresses since these actors who are few years away from turning 50 still want to work with women who are under 30.

I'm surprised at all the people saying no. This isn't supposed to be a huge budget film. Rani said it herself.

If by 'work' you mean the film recovering its budget and making profit then YES it worked for her.

However, if by 'work' you mean the movie getting huge media coverage like Kahaani, her performance getting rave reviews like Kahaani and catapulting her back into the spot light like English Vinglish, then NO, sadly it didn't work for her.

I don't see anyone going 'Rani is back'. Neither do i see anyone thinking she might win something for this movie.

i really liked movie's concept ... Performance wise Rani did a good job and that villian also good... Dialouges were good and i love to watch women centric movies ... I liked kangana,rani and PC's work so far ..
