Why am I not surprised that the hug ended up being like that? 😆

The cliff part was shot wonderfully..I am glad they didn't go for a lambaaa chodaaa eye-lock there. Nandini's utter shock at being stuck in a situation and Manik's resolve to get her out of there, wonderfully done by Niti and Parth! The way Nandini broke down completely and was shaking while crying was just so so so real! That is how one feels and cries after being in a situation like this. Usually I hate the repeated crying scenes for the girls but Niti nails those scenes so it's always a joy to see her cry. No..I am not a sadist!!

The 'hug'. Seeing Manik feel so helpless as she continued crying despite his stern assurance that all's well now, I had a feeling that even he'd start crying just to surprise her so much that she'd stop crying. But that split second look he had on his face before he went in to draw her close, like he was marvelling at her ability to be able to cry so freely and just there, for that one moment, loving her so unreservedly...ahhh..my heart turned to all mush <3 Thankfully, Ishq Bulava did not play there. I love the song but it's getting repetitive to the point of annoying now..KY2 has some beautiful BG scores and sometimes music should be wordless and non-Bollywood.

Manik realized mid-way just what he was going to do and he stopped. But the position was so awkward for him. He could've pulled back and acted like nothing happened by being his usual stern self and demanding that she get a grip but he didn't want to leave her alone like that, not without making sure that she gonna be alright. The hands which had wanted to go all around her, ended up just tapping her shoulders. If it's the thought that counts, then his thought was priceless. His action was simply precious. His subconscious is self tuning itself to Nandini and her moods and it's completely rebelling against Manik's logic. How I love that..

Harshad comes and spews his bitter words. The scene in itself is so typical of Harshad but what happens later simply took my heart away! Harshad going to Nandini and apologizing regarding his conduct. SEE! He does care about the girls! Yeah, he seems to be using them but his apology here was genuine! THANK YOU HARSHAD!! He is going through his own helpless phase as well, just like Manik. He can't help insulting Manik, wanting to hurt him, to take every chance to hit him where it would hurt him the most. Till now I thought his anmosity with Manik was due to some Mukti related issue, but Harshad having the same FB which Manik had at the start of the show, total plot twist! So did NOT see that coming. The three 'brothers' actually were Manik, Dhruv and Harshad! Damn it! My curiosity just got increased! WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST?! How did it start?! How did it come to this place where Harshad can't help but hurt Manik and ends up sharing some of the pain as well! The little boys who swore to be brothers..how did they grow up to become into men who want to annihilate each other. And why is Dhruv a non-active part of this? Why all fires aimed at Manik? CVs! You better give me good answers for this!! Though I suppose they will..with the way they are revealing pieces bit by bit and keeping the interest in the back story fresh and alive. At least they aren't giving vibes ke they will just put a random event as a backdrop of this animosity when the time comes, it genuinely feels like they have a tale to tell.

YUSS! Cabir-Raghav hints getting canon! Something is defo cooking between the two! But for now, it's just another secret.

Woohoo for assertive Dhruv! Topi Boy! Tussi tou chaa gaye! He came and took Nandini away by her hand. Finally, they had their first scene where the talk came straight from the heart. Agreed that even this had mentions of Manik but nowadays Manik is everywhere in Nandini's life, she can't take him out of it. I loved the placement of this scene. Nandini was still on the edgy. The cliff incident had visibly shaken her and she was not alright. At that vulnerable time, one does speak like that. When she found a source of calm in Dhruv, she spilled her heart out. Her discomfort at always being stuck in trouble, her tiredness of fighting from everything; it was wonderful to see her initially act alright but just a little probing from Dhruv had her spilling everything out.

Manik, on the other hand, looked like a deewana majnu 🤣 He is questioning his own self; why does he do what he's been doing recently? Why this sudden lack of control over himself? Why for Nandini?! Why, why, why? And he has no answers. He is agitated and touchy and reminds me of a blast ended skrewt...had it been anyone other than Dhruv to approach him then, he pakka would've chopped his head off xD

It's clear that Dhruv wants no drama from Manik and Nandini. He just wants things to be normal so he can be at peace and not be constantly on the lookout for another trouble they land up in. He doesn't want to always act like the middle man and sort their issues. He just wants them to talk, get it over with, and move on. But wo MaNan hi kya jo aisi harkat karen. Things don't seem too bright in their land though. Their bickering is back to the way it used to be but I guess it's owing to their own inner frustrations getting out. This incident has proved two things, one that Nandini is tired of always getting into trouble with Manik and second that Manik is losing his self-control when Nandini is concerned. Harshad's words were so spot on - he was never the one put in trouble for the damsel in distress but Nandini is one damsel he just can not see in distress. Why's that? This why is gonna cast Manik so much of his sanity..

Take a bow Cvs👏, Such a brilliant brilliant episode. This is what sets this serial apart. The growth and character projections.
The way she was holding on to him and the moment they share . This is what she is doing to Manik- giving him this unexplainable burst of energy , restlessness and confidence to do the right thing. Bravo to both Niti and Parth for selling it like no another.

The moment- Almost hug. Bravo for not going the usual cliched way. The change in Manik is so visible , the hesitation and the need to calm her down. He just cannot see her crying ever. The way he tried patting her down was both amusing , in character and the unsaid emotions behind it made that sequence utterly powerful.

Harshad - like always he saw Manik and lost it. This is what I meant that his hate supersedes everything when he sees Manik and the whole taunt was such an eye-opener for Manik. Dare I say, needed too. harshad might have used it to vent his own frustrations but like always he aided in making Manik realize what everyone is noticing. The mask is slipping, the self-confessed villian is giving way to a lost guy who is doing something right and it is all happening because of Nandini. She is the confrontation to the years of his cultivated persona crumbling . He now gets what fab5, Alya , harshad mean when they question his actions around Nandini. The bust of frustration and realization was so needed.

Harshad is finally becoming a well-rounded character. The way he went and talked to Nandini and eexpressed his regret and almost spelled out his anger for Manik was nice. But what won me over was Nandu's perception and her spine. She is not awed by Harshad or even Manik , she asked him the real question - his intentions and reasons for the hate. It is important how Nandini is able to think straight here.

The flashback- yes the mystery is greater and somewhere there is hurt of a friend. Perhaps Manik unknowingly let Harshad down or there is some sort of misunderstanding. I don't think the third guy is Dhruv? Because none of Harshad's interactions with him have revealed any bond .

Cabir- Raghav , still not buying the gay track . I don't think they will make it so obvious and still try to keep the mystery going.

Dhruv- boldest move yet and growth . He is sick and tired of Manik-Nandini and their thing. I still feel he is not able to perceive and read their equation well. Yet it was heartwarming how he mothered the two sulky kids and sat them down to sort the matter. He really wants to explore his friendship with Nandini free of Manik and he cannot have Manik unfurling like this.

This is the triangle for me . You don't have to form two cliched love equations. There is genuine friendship and care between these three. And it's refreshing.

Dhruv- Nandini , I am glad Nandu noticed Dhruv's boldness. Also good to see her opening up about her troubles. These two share the purest friendships. But Nandu is experiencing a Manik turmoil- his good cop, bad cop is messing with her.

Loved how Manik spelled it that he is not troubling her for sometime now and she also mentioned how she is not crying because of him. His look . they both need to shout at each other and realize that there is no problem , they just have this pull towards each other and take it in their stride- but well they are in two different circles. The confrontations that stand between them is the arc here.

Manik is dying to revert back, he is not liking the changes in himself and he is frustrated. He cannot afford to be the "Hero". So when the moment presented he preferred to shout at her and tried desperately to find some flaw and reason for blaming her. Good on her for standing up to him. Nandu is getting comfortable and bolder with him. Perhaps because she understands him a bit . He brings out this passion in her , the way she told him coldly - Thank you and placed her hands on him. This . More than the feels, it shows how strong she is emerging from their confrontations. The girl is tired and just wants to give up, she just doesn't know why they are stuck together. Why he is affecting her so much.

And viola- he says it out loud- Nandu is driving him crazy and this is going to get even more crazier. They both want to dislike each other but cannot.

Music, friendship and angst. This band of lost souls are in a way family to each other. They don't know how each one of them is getting connecting with another.

Loved it.

Thank God, we have friday too.

This show keeps surprising us with the direction they go, whatever we guess always turns out to be something else only and I love that soo much. Most of us thought that Harshad hates Manik and other Fab 5 because of his break up with Mukti but its soo much more deeper than that. They all were childhood besties and something big happened. This mystery and the other of the whole Star thing of Dhruv and Rishabh is very intriguing and I cant wait for it to unfold. Hopefully they show it soon.
Now coming to MaNan, Manik being frustrated over his action was soo adorable and his last line "She is driving me crazy" Awww

Can I just say how much in awe I am of the management of time by the cvs, so many reveals, and character growths in 20 minutes. For the first time, I could see Harshad as more than a one-dimensional character, like you I enjoyed watching Dhruv active, instead of being passive and he did it in character , no big bravado but almost a shy defiance. I knew this episode would get Manik a little closer to understanding himself and his feelings.not there yet but definite progress made. Cabir and Raghav I would have enjoyed , if Raghav wasn't a professor. I wish I could type more but not a fan of typing on the IPad.

The episode was so darn interesting, I am genuinely surprised that the third boy in the flashback was Harshad I has assumed before that it was Cabir.. I want to see more of such flashbacks, actually I don't mind if they show one episode of just flashbacks of how the band of brothers were and how they broke up of how in college the Fab5 came to exist and how their friendship strengthened..
I am glad that Dhruv is being assertive and trying to help his friends, but Manik and Nandini they are both on the road of conflict and some self- discovery especially Manik 😳

Your analysis about today's episode as usual good.so I am not
going to say anything about that.
I want to say about music of show.instead of choosing popular songs
from bollywood movies they have chosen, sham and ishq bulava for
manan, such a way that every moment matches with lyrics.
But when comes to navya's dream sequence they use popular songs
of bollywood, because those moments are unreal.
I really want to praise director for lipsink of lyrics, so good in previous
yaaro and tomorrow's phikar nahi.perfect line for correct character.

AND I thought I'm the only one who brings up 'Harry Potter' and 'Twilight' metaphors in my posts/reviews. 😆

Maanik= Blast ended skrewt had me 🤣 🤣

Regarding the H n M animosity, have you seen that Maanik doesn't hate him the way Harshad hates Maanik? At least Maanik doesn't spend half his day on planning and plotting against Harshad which the latter does.

I wonder WHY is he pushing Maanik towards Nandu and vice-versa? If he just wanted a break-up between Aalya-Maanik, he'd have happily used Aalya's secret against her- she hates him anyway and he had openly stated that he'll 'Break Fab 5', so why didn't he?

My guess is the same as it was before. Harshad wants Maanik alone and friendless like Maanik have left him (if the flashbacks are to be believed). By making sure that Maanik falls in love with Nandini, a break up will surely ensue, and with that sympathy for Aalya and hatred for Maanik from the rest of Fab 5.

Is that what he wants? I think YES!

The hurt has to be too deep to hurt your 'enemy' mentally than physically.

Take a bow Cvs👏, Such a brilliant brilliant episode. This is what sets this serial apart. The growth and character projections. We're so lucky that we don't get a complete filler episode..every episode has something going on, every week the show covers a track and the characters just keep on growing.

The way she was holding on to him and the moment they share . This is what she is doing to Manik- giving him this unexplainable burst of energy , restlessness and confidence to do the right thing. Bravo to both Niti and Parth for selling it like no another. Nandini's just compels Manik to do things, I doubt that he stops and judges the rights and wrongs of his actions. Ever since the locked room, he only knows one thing is that he has to do something, anything which would take off the feeling of discomfort from her face. Like I said in my post, he actions are being fine tuned to better suit her and he doesn't even realize it. Today he did realize it and the sense of agitation he got was no small thing. It's just brilliant the way this character grows and changes.

With them, their scenes are play of moments. The split second where the mind stops working and the subconscious takes over them. The very moments where all logic which would stop them from getting closer seeing their toxic history just goes out of the window and it's the souls' pull to each other which causes them to act the way they do. Manik at first was clearly annoyed at her crying. He had just gone through a physically exhausting task and then seeing her cry like a child frustrated her. But that didn't last long. When it registered to him that she was crying, the whys, whats, and the words were abandoned by him and he went to do the natural thing you do to people you hold dear - you physically hold them and assure them that all's well. Of course, Manik stopped mid-way because he realized he has no right to do that but still...he didn't let go.

She is the confrontation to his years on cultivated persona crumbling . He know gets what fab5, Alya , harshad mean when they question his actions around Nandini. The bust of frustration and realization was so needed. Harshad is the guy who should be credited the most when it comes to Manik and his behavior. Hints point to him being the mastermind behind all these moments. He has orchestrated the chain of events in such a brilliant way. He took all he knew about Fab5 and specifically Manik and used it all to his advantage. He kept his eyes and ears opened and took so many chances and they always paid off. If we consider this latest development of Harshad knowing Manik since childhood, everything starts making a different kind of sense. Harshad must know the difference between Manik's mask and his genuine self which he has hidden and his actions are pulling out the hidden self which isn't a comfortable development for most of Fab5. Dhruv can be excused cuz he knows Manik the best. But if we add Harshad to that list...things get so much interested. While Dhruv knows Manik and lets it be, Harshad uses his knowledge about Manik's inner workings and is using them, twisting them around to get to his motives. More than Nandini, it's Harshad who is the main cause of his distress because he acted as the catalyst for Manik to go through all that he is.

Harshad is finally becoming a well-around character. The way he went and talked to Nandini and exppressed his regret and almost spelled out his anger for Manik was nice. But what won me over was Nandu's perception and her spine. She is not awed by Harshad or even Manik , she asked him the real question - his intentions and reasons for the hate. It is important how Nandini is able to think straight here. Nandini's scene with Harshad was fab. I love this girl and her perception. She knows that Harshad is with them mainly to defeat Fab5 and she realizes that it's not out of some sense of justice. She has realized that the hatred is more personal and she confronted him about it. The scene was my absolute favorite...it showed the difference between how Harshad treats Navya and how he acts with Nandini. With Nandini, one can feel him respect this girl. Sure, he has used her before but all his direct encounters with her are always so genuine. He respects her and treats her as such. I really want Nandini and Harshad to be friends, God knows that Harshad needs a friend. They are the two who can perfectly get each other. Nandini's compassion and Harshad's role in the bigger scheme of things, these factors just seem to be working all in their favor. Again, I just love how this show treats all these equations between the characters so well. These relationships are much more than typical romance and shallow friendship...they have layers and all are equally important, albiet on different stages.

If Harshad was the third guy with them, why isn't he with Fab5? I think Manik had to either choose Fab5 or Harshad and he choose Fab5. That's where Harshad's hurt started. Add failed relationship Mukti to the equation and things just exploded. I guess Harshad blames Manik for losing his brother like friend and love. Brother like friend being Manik himself and the love choosing Manik over him.

Cabir- Raghav , still not buying the gay track . I don't think they will make it so obvious and still try to keep the mystery going. Yeah..the gay track seems obvious but I like to ship them 😆 It seems obvious that something else is at play here but what?! gaaah! so many mysteries!! I want to know answers and I kinda don't as well..this restlessness can be fun.

Dhruv's such intentions were clear today but I don't know what he actually thinks about Manik's equation with Nandini. For now all he wants is his two special friends to stop getting into trouble so he can peacefully deal with them. Now tou whenever he thinks of moving forward with his new friend, she gets stuck with his old friend in yet another trouble and all her energies are used up on ranting about the Monster...no wonder Dhruv is tired of this shizz.

Manik is becoming permanent for Nandini...ab it's hard for her to pursue anything where Manik isn't involved. She wants to but she seems resigned to the thing that she won't be able to. She's losing this battle and will do so unless she stands up and decides that no, she gonna live her life on her terms.

They want to stay away from each other but they also just have to shout and scream at each other. They are becoming each other's habit...it ain't gonna change soon.

They both are stuck in their own frustrations and whys. They don't even realize that they've grown around each other. He is becoming less calculating and more impulsive, she is being less terrified and more in control. But because they are doing this change at the same time, they don't stop and think about it. It's just another thing for them but as a viewer, this growth is so refreshing to watch. they be understanding each other and hating each other and knowing each other and it's always on the same level. There's no difference in wavelengths of growth between them. This will only help them in the long term for they will go through same things at the same time. Yeah, factors might not allow them to act on those feelings at the same time but somewhere within them, the feelings would reside and continue growing. Aaah...that'd be so passionate!

And viola- he says it out loud- Nandu is driving him crazy and this is going to get even more crazier. they both want to dislike each other but cannot. Today he said this in frustration but how apt the words were. She has turned his world upside down, made him a ranting mess. Yet he still wants more of her..

And music, friendship and angst. This band of lost souls are in a way family to each other. They don't know how each one of them is getting connecting with another. So excited to see these individuals be connected by the one thing which is the most prominent for them - music. Music, friendship and angst does bind them together. Tomorrow we gonna get music...later on the other factors will be explored as well.

Loved it.

Thank God, we have friday too. YES!! Two episodes to go! Feels unreal!
