When I see Jodha Akbar its looks like I am watching pati, patni aur woh serial
Its a reality that Akbar has so many wives at least handle them a bit gracefully
But no when Akbar and Jodha are hugging Ruqaiah barges inside
When Ruqaiah and Akbar are sharing childhood memories Jodha walks inside
When Salima and Akbar are discussing Ruqaiah comes inside
Its terribly akward if not for the wives for an husband Akbar himself.
Because he is husband for all not one or two of them
I mean why cannot one of this two things be done?
Let wives ask permission and barge into other wives and Akbar's room because some private moment may be going on
OR just do not show scenes where Akbar is hugging, sleeping etc with his one wife and other wife just walks inside
Keep it simple and natural when two wives are required in same scene by not showing any private moments at that time
Why cannot two wives and one husband behave maturely and normally?
Please watch other historicals in MP serial also Udai Singh has three wives but none such akward moments shown ever
The next thing is Ruqaiah is standing there and Akbar caresses Jodha's head and kisses her forehead. It is simple psychology that when an husband/parent/teacher etc shows more preference to one wife/child/student terrible jealousy and enemity is woven into mind of others. Akbar was an intelligent man and would have avoided these dramas in his household by treating many equally rather than preferential treatments. He is no jehangir or shah jahan to go gaga over one wife and ignore rest. Favouratism exists but need not be on public display in personal or professional life isn't it.
