PART-1

Maan stood near the window of his office thinking about his life about geet n about the pain that he has gifted her in this relation when all she ever asked him was love ,understanding n companionship n togetherness n all she got in return from him was lonliness n pain..maan saw his staff leaving to there home to go back to there family but thought about his ownself that who was he gonna b going back to as there was no one at his home who would be waiting for him as he was himself responsible to distance that one person away from his life who loved him who cared for him but atlass he was unfortunate enough to have lost her.

He got up to leave,when maan reached home he saw back he went his home only to find his mom n daddima again into an argument he decided to go towards his room avoiding there daily bickering as he didn't wanted to be a part of all this but the name of his heart compelled him to stop at his place.daddima n pammi were having an heated argument regarding geet's jewellery pammi wanted to give a neck piece to anni while daddima didn't wanted geet's jewellery to touched by anyone

Maan see maa is not letting me give this necklace to annie i mean common she loves this neckpiece soo much

But why only this pammi u very well know its geets n m not gonna let u touch any of her things if u wanna gift ur daughter something why don't u buy something for her what's the need to give geet's belongings

Whats wrong in it waise b she is no longer here

So that doesnot mean u ll give away all her jewellery to anyone

Annie is not anyone but my daughter maa

Yes annie is ur daughter but geet is also ur DIL so i would request u to maintain the dignity of that relation

N u hav got no right to give away any of her belongings to anyone when u got nothing for her ever

Maan was shocked to hear what daddima was saying he looked towards his daddima strangely with a shocked expression what to u mean by that daddima??

Well all the jewellery here in this locker is what geet got from her parents house there is nothing n i mean nothing that u or pammi got her

Aapki mom ne geet ko sivae taunts k aur kuch gift nai kiya h maan,the only thing that ur wife got from ur mom was her precious taunts which she heard without any mistake

Why r u shocked maan tell me when did u got something for ur wife or when did u took her for shopping

Maan was again lost in his pain of failure, Though he knew he never gave anything to geet but he didn't knew that she got nothing from his family,he always thought that his mom or daddima might have gifted her sumthing or other on different occasions but alas again he was wrong

Well my dear son the answer is never n geet never demanded anything from us,akhir karti b kyun jab uske khud k pati ne kabi use kuch nai diya toh wo humse kiss haq se mangti kuch n not to forget jab aapki maa ne geet ko iss ghar se nikala tab geet yahan se apna kuch bhi le gai aap logon na meri bachi ko beghar n besahara kar diya maan bina uski kisi galti k

Maan was soo drowned in the pain of his failure once again that he forgot to answer back daddima

.she left from there leaving a shattered n broken maan who dragged his body towards his room n sat there counting his mistakes n realising the amount of hurt n pain geet has to endure being his wife n still she never said a word,infact the day his mom dragged her out of the house all she did was look at him with hopefull eyes but he stood there doing nothing n once again failed in his responsibilities.he smilled sadly thinking about the no. Of times he told geet to grow up, to be responsible while in reality she was always responsible while he was the irresponsible one in there relation who spoiled everything.he stood near the window thinking about the day which compelled him to think about his n geet's relation n the day he realised about her pain

*FlashBack*

Today maan has met geet at court for there first case hearing n seeing the pale n lost look on geet's face has left him wondering y his wife looked soo sad if she herself wanted the divorce but that was not it ,the other news that shocked him more was the news that her landlord told him before closing the door on his face that geet's parents broke all ties with her n she was living alone here for all these 4 months with no one to takecare of her has left him shocked n hurt with the fact that he left geet all alone.but that was not it later in the night what he heard annie telling to arjun has shaken up his all belief in relations n his understanding he remembered annie telling arjun that geet couldnot b wrong n she was sure it was his brother who did sumthing that led her to take this decision.

But what shocked him the most was when annie said

May b geet took a right decision,u know arjun she is a gem of a person n she deserves someone better in her life someone who could understand her,her felings n could cherish her not someone rough like maan bhai,she deserves someone who could give her the love that she deserves who could cherish her smile her innocence,u know arjun the geet maan bro married 5yrs back is lost somewhere i no longer found her in the girl who used to live with my brother as my bhabhi,the smile,the laughter the happiness that she used to carry in her eyes was lost in these years of there marriage may b she took a right decision n may b now she ll b happy

But annie how can u say this about ur own brother???

I know m talking about my own bhai but that's the bitter truth of there life,

U know arjun sumtimes its very important to share ur views ur feelings with ur partner,but knowing maan bhai m sure he would never share his feelings with anyone n may b this distance has created this gap in there relation n compelled geet to take this decision

After hearing all this maan was shattered completely broken,his own sister thought that geet's decision for divorce was right,his sister understood his wife more than he could,is it really true that geet lost her smile coz of me

Maan was lost in his thoughts wondering was he soo wrong in his relation,he decided to go n talk geet next day n will sort out everything but sometimes things go out of ur hand n u r left with nothing in ur hand.
