Bandhan -Written Update-

16th September 2014

It is morning. Someone is looking for Darpan. He is shouting calling her name but Darpan is missing. He asks a monkey if it knows where Darpan is.

Darpan is on the tree. She is surrounded by bees and requests them to give some honey for her brother.

The man finds Darpan and asks her to come down. He says Aarti is about to start and she needs to go home. Darpan says she is here to collect honey for her brother. The man, Darpan calling him as Kaka, asks her how can she knows that it is a bro. She can have a sister too. Darpan says Ganesh told him that she will have a brother. Kaka starts laughing. Darpan takes him to a tree. She sits down and starts praying. She prays to Ganesh to tell Kaka about her brother. Meanwhile, in another side of jungle an elephant is roaring and it seems like it is hurt. Darpan and kaka assume the roaring is a sign from Ganesh .

A man, perhaps a poacher, finds a sign and assumes that elephant is in nearby. He orders his men to find it.

Darpan and kaka come to the house. Darpan takes some milk for her brother. Her mom asks her to get ready. Darpan says she went to jungle to arrange milk and honey for her brother. Darpan then asks her mom what if her brother comes today. Mom says it will be auspicious. Her Papa comes with a colourful small umbrella. Darpan gets happy. Papa asks her what she will do with it. Darpan says she will disclose it later. She goes to her room.

Her parents come to her room and find Darpan is fixing the umbrella with a cradle. Papa asks her what is the use of the umbrella coz the cradle is inside the room. Darpan then opens the window and says they have to keep the window open so that her brother can sleep and this umbrella will protect him from rain. She asks papa how she will get to know if her brother loves her or not coz he will be a kid and will not be able to speak. Papa says she will feel it and this is called Bandhan.

Suddenly her mom feels uncomfortable and they all rushes to hospital.

In the forest Poachers are digging big holes to capture the elephant.

Precap- Darpan's jeep falls in the trap and the elephant comes there and pulls it out. but it gets trapped. Darpan;s papa comes with his rangers to rescue the elephant. the new born baby is dead. the elephant also gives birth of a baby. Darpan is heartbroken and prays to Ganesh to return her brother. Suddenly the baby elephant comes there and Darpan accepts him as her brother.
