I am sorry to be quoting you again and I am not trying to pick on you... Just trying to clarify something... I dont think her point is about paparazzi invasion... I think her point is about a supposedly reputable publication like TOI taking a photo from a weird angle and highlighting the cleavge and putting it as headline.. that is actually pretty sleazy... i think that is what she meant when she said about respecting women... not about publishing photos without permission... even if you publish do it in a more respectful or tasteful way may be???

True this is not the first time it has happened... this photo itself is supposedly an old one... it could be many things either she was always outraged.. but not confident enough to say anything about it... and now she has really become more confident... or it could be some kind of image makeover they are trying for her as part of her PR exercise... but I dont think it would have been natural if you got outraged for some other actress and the actress in question is not bothered? so i think it is perfectly okay that she was outraged about her own photo and not about anyone else's... imagine she said this about some other actress's photo and the actress in question says she should have just let it be and the person in question is not interested in making an issue of it? so each person can only speak about what they can totally vouch for right? so I don't think there is anything wrong in her calling TOI out on their sleazy stories... it is not her taking a stand for all women or whatever.. it is her reacting to a personal thing... but since she is now a succesful actress may be it makes some teeny weeny difference to the way TOI reports! dont know... and thank you for not making this a fight...

I dont begruge her the right to speak for herself. It shouldnt be made out to be like it came from a support to women empowerment movement like so many are making it out to be. That it might help is secondary to the debate, as there was not much coming from her side before toward others that were suffering from the same attacks. But good if at the end of the day, it helps everyone take a hard look @ him/herself & define what women empowerment really is!🤗
