Govinda gets candid
Salman Khan may be Govinda's best buddy but it looks like that Chi Chi has no qualms playing foil to Salman's super stud image. In a freewheeling chat with TIMES NOW's Pratiksha Menon, he talks about his latest release, his daughter's entry into the film world and the art to win the ladies!
Talking in detail about his forthcoming release, Govinda said:"The film 'Jahan Jayiaga Hame Payiga' is all set to relase soon. The film is being directed by my nephew, Dharmendra, while Vinay Anand and Krishna, who are also my nephews, are acting with me in the film."
When asked about his forthcoming release 'Partner' and the kind of partner he makes with Salman Khan, he laughingly added:" I am a fat partner, heavy partner, big partner. I think, both me and Salman have our own USPs."
Further talking about his daughter's entry into the film industry and the kind of advice he has given to his daughter, Govinda said:" I have advised her to gather knowledge and learn from people as much as she can," further adding" she is lucky that she is Govinda's daughter and she is treated like a family in the film industry."
When probed whether he will ever act in an art film, he said:"I will act both in commercial and art film and play can play diverse roles, i.e that of an hero, villian, character roles et al.
On being asked whether he will do a role as a ladies man and a charmer, he said:"Of course, everyone loves to be a charmer. If you are being appreciated by a woman, it's a compliment as I think, that women are comparatively more intelligent.
