This show reminds me of those family dramas from the 70s where the heart-of-gold younger brother was targeted by older siblings for being carefree. It has a very retro feel.

The Daadi Maa is super cute! I think I watch this show every once in a while for her. But I can't imagine the millennials being that scared of their Dadaji! The Dadajis these days don't behave like. This Dadaji is from pre-independence time.

When the show was being introduced, it seemed like there would be a special bonding between all cousins but it turned out to be a "teri family" and "meri family" thing! I had expected it to be a light comedy drama with all the youth energy available.

I hope the writers make it a bit less dramatic and retro and use the talent at hand to make it an entertaining family fun-drama.

The bond between cousins is indeed shown to be very special. "Teri family" and "Meri family" thing does exist but not between the cousins..its admist their parents. From Nisha's family, she is the one to speak always as her parents and brother Sukku, are too meek. Between cousins, only their ego comes at times but at the end of the day, it all gets sorted!
