Irrespective of what are Sehar's intentions in being nice and clingy and caring to Rehaan, one thing cannot be dismissed at all. Sehar , in the last 48-72 hours has given Rehaan what he never had.
1. A humour capsule that has made him smile and even joke back. Rehaan and joking. Imagine?
2. A blitzkrieg like entry that has made Rehaan REACT to various things and made him forget for sometime that his life is a Shakespearean tragedy.
3. A friendship that has no attachment but a flicker of a promise of 'Hey there!'.
4. A homely feeling where she takes over his room, his bed, pulling him into another sphere of life sans Tanveer, Aahil and Sanam and the baggage.
5. Above all, she has CARED for him at his lowest. She has asked him how could he sleep empty-stomach and she has cooked for him. A very small gesture but very big in magnitude for an abandoned man.
Point being, that its very easy and natural for an emotionally abandoned person to find solace and comfort in a person who shows signs of caring , of giving shelter. Rehaan sees Sehar as a burden but her caring side does warm him.
I remember people used to ask that why did a woman like Zoe fall in love with a man like Asad. The answer was simple in many ways. Asad was the first person who became her shield , who shared what she had lost , who gave her a home and a family . Zoe's emotional hunger was fed by Asad. Similarly, Sehar is giving Rehaan a release from his sense of tragedy , she is giving him company of a traveler , she is beginning to give him a feeling of domestication... its premature to say it but she is giving him a home away from home. That explains Sehar and Rehaan sharing a home space.
And it will not be in Sehar's character to cheat Rehaan after all that he does for her.
