Maybe for the first time, someone looked up to him for support (though out of fear). Someone needs him, his support. The feeling of being needed or wanted is important for anyone's happiness. Rehaan never had this feeling before, so he has never been happy.

Seher grew up with an abandoned feeling on the streets.

Rehaan grew up with the same feeling in a house.

So, ideally both can understand each other's pain.

That said, Sehar has indeed brought in humour, care, responsibility and protective affection in Rehaan's life. That simple noodle making and Sehar's words moved him. And that says a lot about Rehaan's emotional hunger and isolation.

You know what I love about both of them (Rehan and Seher)? They are both innocent in their heart , they are both simple beings - nothing complex about them nor their characters. Rehan thinks too much and Seher doesn't think at all... Rehan indulges himself in pity because he feels life was cruel to him, Seher lives for the moment and thinks about who to con next though life was really cruel to her (which she isn't aware). Rehan thinks everyone has abandoned him, Seher thinks Bappa is her best friend.

Very beautiful post. Beautiful anylysis of the moment. Rehan and seher both r abondoned person in their respective life. Thats why they understand each other. The simple caring of seher just warm rehan. And i like their this simple equation. Waiting for the more bonding btwn them

I think Seher is like this fresh breeze in Rehan's life, distracting him from as you call it "his Shakespearean tragedy' of a life! What he doesn't know is that Seher is also part of that Shakespearean tragedy. But I feel by the time he realises this, he would be too far gone in his feelings for her to stop!

Exactly what I had been thinking. FINALLY someone who is giving some attention to Rehaan (his own mother doesn't!). I wouldn't blame him if he falls for her so quickly. He hasn't received from anyone since the show begun.
