Goshhh.. I just saw the SBS vid. This is sooo not done. I wanna curse everything that worked against this phenomenal show from the bottom of my heart. When the news was confirmed, I didn't feel bad cuz I thought that whatever the cruel fate of the show might be, the RR team will be proud of the fact that they were able to put up something so unique and spectacular.
But when I saw how emotional the creatives and actors were, I just couldn't take it. My heart broke when the director refused to say 'pack up' after the last scene was shot.

It's obviously not about the fact that a show is ending. Although they were almost as emotional when MJHT ended, I did not feel bad at all. It's also not about the fact that a show didn't do well on the TRP charts. I didn't feel bad at all when ChanChan ended. But it has to do with the fact that a show that is someone's dream project, that binds so many people, that has so much potential, that is obviously an extremely valuable production has to end for all the wrong reasons. I had pretty much the same feeling when IPKKND ended... A major difference being that IPK was done with its primary plot lines while RR didn't get that privilege, which makes it all the more painful.

I kind of feel guilty now thinking that I didn't do much to show my appreciation of RR. Yes my watching it on TV doesn't count but there were other means... I strongly believe that the team is still not fully aware of how much popular the show was among its fandom.

Just saw the ABP news report and my heart sank when obviously the last scene was shot and there was none left to do but say their thank you's and goodbye's.

Ditto to all the things you've said about what sets RR apart from the other shows that Sanaya did. I myself didn't feel this nostalgic nor disappointed when IPK ended. Personally, IPK's ending felt soo abrupt...so sudden, there wasn't much choice but to move on. But with RR, because they announced it a few weeks back, breaking away from this show will surely turn out to be a long drawn process...from countdowns to D day to over analysing what went wrong and what could've been done to save it to feeling frustrated over the way the last track unfolded...and the list goes on. it's harder to let go this time because we all know that we had a gem in our hands...that given thorough thought and sensible judgement, the show could have fared better than it did. That is if TRPs was the main reason for its demise. I hate to think that the only serials that will survive the TRPs are those with predictable, sappy and not-so original plots.

It would feel a little weird that I won't be logging on to sites that feature RR in the forthcoming evenings. Perhaps, there will be less topics to comment on on this forum. I will sorely miss reading people's POVs and hilarious comments about certain aspects of the show.

On the other hand, I'm glad that I once came across a serial with actors that are overflowing with talent...with leads that could burn the screen with their chemistry...with a unique story that captivated people all over the globe. RR may have been defeated in the ratings game. But it surely holds the top spot in my heart and mind. In the end, that is what matters for a fan like me.

I also just saw the video and it made me feel just as sad as them. Can't believe RR is not going to be on our screens from next week. Felt really sorry for one and all. It was also sad to see the director couldn't even say pack up after the last shot was done. When IPK finished it was really abrupt but was expecting it to happen.
With such a show as RR which had an amazing storyline and an amazing cast just can't believe this kind of thing happened.
I agree with everything you have sais and I wish there was a way we as fans of RR can show the cast and crew how popular it was amongst the whole fandom.

So well said dear
Truly heartbreaking to see the pack up seg. Nobody expected such a quick end to a lovely show
RR never had an opportunity to show its orginal plot. This show sure deserved a second chance
Well no point fretting over this
I am gonna miss this super show and super cast

That SBS was heartbreaking. I can't believe the actors are already done with the show 😭 No more SBS segments, no more offscreen masti. 😭
