Salman not comfortable working with Sonam Kapoor ?

While rumour mills are abuzz that Salman Khan was the reason behind Sonam Kapoor bagging the lead role in Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', Kapoor denies any such truth to this. The actress says it was quite the opposite and Khan was not comfortable working opposite Kapoor in a love story.

"Salman was uncomfortable about working with me in the film... People believe I've got this film because dad and Salman are good friends. In fact, that's one reason I wasn't going to get it. Sooraj had to convince Salman. Eventually, Salman said the decision of choosing a heroine is never his. And everyone says it's his decision. That's not true," Kapoor said in an interview to Filmfare.

It can be noted that there were many rumours of Deepika Padukone having signed on for Barjatya's film before Kapoor's name was announced.

Interestingly, Khan and Kapoor have worked opposite each other earlier as Khan had an important cameo in Kapoor's debut film, Saawariya' (2007).

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' is slated for a Diwali 2015 release.
