Dev is showing his frustration for the wrong reasons.
He should NOT have backed down so easily in the Hospital when Shaurya was degrading a family that Shaurya knew he was close to.
Dev already knows Shaurya and his opinions on Payal and her family and he does not add the threat from Shuarya to stay away from Durga and his being shot connects Shaurya to the crime of getting close to Durga.
The Goenka's always knew Dev had a special bond with Nitya and Payal and that was the reason they delayed him unnecessarily in U S.
Dev did not see then nor did he bother to check WHY and Who made that possible.
Dev never clarifies to his mother that ..Please do not stop me in searching for the truth, I have to find out what happened for my peace of mind.
And if all Goenka's object to that search that in itself should ring some Bells in his head as to WHY all these objections ...And WHAT are these family of mine HIDING??
Dev is the WEAKEST LINK of this show and has singlehandedly taken the thrill of suspense out of this revenge by his sheer ignorance of NOT picking up obvious clues that are right under his nose.
The only cat Dev has let out of the Bag is that he lacks skills in really knowing his own family.
