I don't think the problem is in the lyrics as such...if you listen to Lootera or most of Amit Trivedi songs lyrics are really really good. What I feel missing is the soul and heart put into it.

Now a days all of this has become too commercial. Also the shelf life is less, since the song is constantly hammered onto you say by radio, TV etc. So it kinda looses its novelty soon.

Noway, lyrics r so bad these days.. even Meherbaan hua.. sounds good. As for singers, the manly voice is gone.. so sad!
