I think that they were thinking to bring Paro back and thats why they gave us hints of M=P.

My opinion is that the decision of ending RR came so quickly even to the PH and they didn't have enough time to bring Paro back.

I blame Colors for ruing the show because some stupid TRPs! 😡

Did they know then that RR is ending or had they already done those scenes?

I don't know why but I had a feeding from beginning of RR2 that M=P. All hints were there.

Just wonder why suddenly they changhed the story, by focusing totally different direction and other people instead of showing M=P progress... Other possibility is that after knowing the show is going to end they didn't care anymore and started repeating same scenes with Myrah. Easiest way?
