Roshni returns the engagement ring and walks out from there, both are upset. DD gloats about how she broke Roshni's engagement as she didn't like Sid. Mona overhears the convo and tells her that what she's doing is wrong, as she thinks Sid and his family are good people. DD asks her to mind her own business as she knows what is best for her daughter. Roshni comes in and tells them that she broke the engagement, and asks DD to rest.
Sid's parents are shocked at the turn of events and want to talk to Roshni about DD's evil antics. Mona asks Sid as to what transpired, and she encourages him to tell Roshni the truth.
At the hospital, Roshni enquires for the chemist. DD's doctor finds her, and gives her the pills and sends her off. He informs DD of the same, who warns him to never tell anyone what's the matter and promises to send him money in return of his silence.
Roshni goes over to her NGO, and she asks the kids to freshen up. The bottle falls from her hand and spills, and one of the kids consumes it. She rushes the child to the hospital, but the doctor informs her that the tablets were just calcium supplements. Roshni is suspicious.
