of course woman is part of society.........in fact they are the worst offenders! i bet the woman's mother or MIL will be the first to point fingers at her.

women think about what society will say b/c you have to live in this society. you have to face the wrath of society day in and day out. and unless you don't have the self confidence to do so, staying with your gay husband is the easy way out.

i understand your point about being nuisances now......the reason why i thought you were talking about gay public displays of affection was your sentence:

"As long as they keep it behind their bedroom doors I and for that matter anybody wouldn't care a hoot about who they are sleeping with even if it's another guy, their pet or their teddy bear."

Yes Maya, thats the same Prince that I am talking about to which you posted the link of.

I agree with some of the things that most of you said. Even I believe that as much as India likes to be conservative they end up looking like hypocrits. I mean if a male and female can walk in publice hand in hand, then why cant 2 gay men. I don't think that its fair to say that gay people should keep their relationship just behind closed doors. They have every right to express their love towards one another as any one else. If a gay man wants to propose to his boyfriend in public then I dont think there is anything wrong in that, and they should be mistreated or looked at with disgust.

Dont know how far back this case goes

There was where a gay couple lived in a conservative town, one night, someone hit the curb and vehicle ended up hitting their bedroom walls and breaking it.

When the cops came up to write the report, the driver told them about the gay couple and how his sensibilities were hurt.

The gay couple was arrested and ended up serving a bigger sentence than the guy(I think it was a guy) who slammed into the house. The religious organization ended up paying for the driver's legal fees

so all that "as long as they keep it indoors" no-one cares doesnt really work 😉
