Rajan Shahi accuses 'unprofessional' Anjana Sood of plotting the ouster of Classic Productions

Ever since the 'Maayka' controversy became public (the production house was changed from Classic Productions to Creative Eye), its director Rajan Shahi has been surrounded by allegations. Husband of the channel's creative head Pearl Shahi, Rajan has been alleged of high-handed behaviour with the actors. He has also been accused of bringing in his own team thus displacing production hands and increasing production costs. Rajan reacts to reports alleging him of abusing his wife's powers.

Script fix
He says, "The writer and creative head Anjana Sood is targeting me at a personal level. Anjana and the producer Ashwin Kumar never got along. They were vocal about their mutual dislike. Ashwin once told us how Anjana would not carry out her responsibilities despite being paid Rs 50000 per episode; which is an obscene amount for a creative head."

Rajan continues, "Despite being the scriptwriter of the show, Anjana would get the scripts written from someone else. These too would not come on time. Plus, they were substandard. She and her brother Vicky would sit on the sets and rework on them while the actors kept waiting. Despite that, I consistently delivered 18 minutes of an episode everyday. All the losses that the production house has suffered, it is only because of these siblings."

We can't really comment on their politics but hope that they don't stop Maayka or make it worse. Now,the story is good, though that bomb blast was not needed 😆

Now I feel that these producers and writers and houses and actors/actress, cast, crew must all be suffuring with all these political nonsense. 😭 Sadly, so are we. But happily... (Not to be rude) This isn't our problem. It's their problem. The show is our problem. And if we choose to watch it, we'll have to ajust to the changes because of these damn politics. 😉
