It does not be like that all the time. But i guess since Surbhi had to go on the photo shoot, they had to double eppy tape for the couple of days she would not be on set.

It is overworking, if you watch US shows eg Glee there are seasons and there are breaks in between seasons, in QH 1 and 2 no break, in fact when a show had a long epi, it took the slot of QH and there was no Q h for a day and fans got upset,

Suppose it a difficult balance, but I can't help feeling bad

Actually i do know about US shows.. My cousin worked on a US soap opera. According to her, if the actors take time off or the studio decides to give them a few days off, they double tape. She said sometimes the actors arrive at the studio at 5 in the morning and don't leave untill after midnight to return next day. So they film two eppies in one day. And those soaps are an hour long.

The same happens for Christmas, as they are given a week to two weeks during Christmas off. But to keep eppies showing during then, they had to do double taping.

At least with Qubool Hai, sometimes their call time is 9 o clock in the morning, sometimes midday. With US soap operas most times call time is before 6 am as the actresses spend lots of time in hair and make up before putting on costumes.
