There is no legal reason to change the name as far as I know. This should remain a personal choice. If the lady wants - she can retain her maiden name or she can adopt her husband's surname.
The problem in BV names is now Anandi is Anandi Shivraj Shakher and Ganga is Ganga Jagdish Singh etc. This is a new development - earlier - Anandi was Anandi Singh and not Anandi Jagdish Singh. Even Jagdish was Jagdish Singh (remember when they signed in court for divorce) - they changed his name after redemption to Jagdish Bhairo Singh. All this is strange because the story belongs to Rajasthan where they do not add father/husband's name with a person's name (such addition of name is common in Maharashtra and Gujarat and with some modification in Southern States) - so even if they adopt husband's surname, they should be Anandi Shakher, Sanchi Kabra etc.there was no need to add husband's name.

Not about signature - the name typed in the affidavit was Jagdish Singh and Anandi Singh as far as I remember. In Rajasthan, they do not add father's name.

Well cvs have created many bloopers so perhaps you are right it is another blooper Remember In that affidavit Jagdish name was written as Jagdish It means on legal documents his name was Jagdish 😆but on his medical practice card that was shown it was Dr Jagat Singh 😆How can he have two names like that if on that affidavit his name was Jagdish Singh then it means his name is Jagdish Singh He never changed it to Jagat Singh legally then how it was Jagat Singh on his card ??then now again it Jagdish Singh I mean Jagdish Bhairon Singh

Jagat was the worst thing they could show. A person cannot change his name like that. And if the medical degree was in the name of Jagat - he cannot practice as Jagdish Singh, unless he officially changes his name.

Jagdish Bhairo Singh first appeared when he was officially made director/MD of the hospital - at that time his name plate was Jagdish Bhairo Singh.
