The entire city is into a festive mood celebrating Ganesh Utsav, Sab TV's popular soap Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has also joined this celebration as they celebrate the Ganesh Utsav on their set. On this occasion, the members of Gokuldham society dressed themselves as Maharastrians and did Ganesh aarti together.
When contacted Dilip Joshi who plays the role of Jethalal, he says, "I am very happy to be a part of this religious festival. In the show, Tapu sena organizes Ganesh Utsav 2014 and they did it beautifully with 7 wonders in pandal. Also, we welcome Lord Bappa in Maharastrian traditional look. This day is very special for us and I wish Bappa fulfills good wishes of everyone."
Dayaben aka Disha Vakani is also very religious person. Celebrating Ganesh Utsav on the set of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was a very special moment for her. "I am a very religious and traditional person. I love the attire of Maharastrian woman and finally I get a chance to look like a Marathi mulgi. I love this new look and very happy that Ganpati bappa came to our society", says Disha Vakani.
