Dinesh Vijan's forthcoming film - as yet untitled - was due to star Sushant Singh Rajput and Alia Bhatt. However, Singh Rajput was apparently unable to accommodate the dates. It is has since come to light that the actor has returned to the project.
In the interim, the makers had approached Varun Dhawan for the male lead role which would have seen him with Bhatt for the third time. A source spoke to Bollywood Life, "Sushant couldn't commit the dates even though he loved the script. So the producers approached Varun. In the meantime, Sushant managed to accomodate his dates and got back into the film. Earlier Sushant lost out of Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor because of Paani. But this time he worked it out".
No doubt this new pairing will be an interesting one to see on screen.
