It's raining remakes in Bollywood. Here we list down five super trashy remakes that tried to recreate magic on the silver screen but instead, tasted dust.



Original: Zanjeer
Remake: Zanjeer (2013)

Trashy quotient: Priyanka Chopra's item number, Pinky
Ram Charan's stone face expressions
Messing with the iconic character of the Angry young man.



Original: Umrao Jaan (1981)
Remake: Umrao Jaan (2006)
Trashy quotient: The forgettable songs
And we don't think anyone can replace Rekha's regal charm


Original: Sholay (1975)
Remake: RGV Ki Aag (2007)

Trashy quotient: It was hard to imagine Amitabh Bachchan playing the iconic villain, Gabbar.
The new-age Basanti, Priyanka Kothari playing rickshawali was tacky.
Gabbar playing with ants! (WHAT?)
The list goes on...

Remake: Karzzz (2008)

Trashy quotient: Himesh Reshamiyaa singing Ek Haseena Thi in his nasal voice

Trashy quotient: Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah trying to do what Jeetendra and Sridevi did
The whole concept of throwing in a tiger in the film.

Thank God I stayed away from watching any of those 😆.Though must say Aishwarya looked like a dream in Umrao Jaan and her mujras showcased through the songs and trailers were fantastic too.No idea about her actual acting in the movie though.

I am lucky that I haven't watched any of those films 🥳 😆

The remade one butchered the original one ..the songs were classic in original one and the lead pair as well..

Aish always manages to look breathtaking in every movie...She doesn't give a damn about acting though.

Both the Himmatwalas sucked IMO..RGV ki Aag was a joke..That was the final nail on RGV's career 😆 And Umrao Jaan was a disaster..Ash looked gorgeous but she was no match to Rekha..Rekha was outstanding in the original..I haven't watched Karzzz but the only thing i remember is the Tandoori Nights song 😆

Watched 1st 40-50 minutes of RGV ki aag wasn't that bad ...cable chala gaya so couldn't watch it ...rest r very bad
