Colors to axe Rangrasiya this month

With Colors tweaking its programming schedule to accommodate the launch of Bigg Boss 8, the decision to axe Rangrasiya' is final!

BizAsia can confirm sources at the channel saying the show will end on Friday 19th September ahead of the launch of Bigg Boss 8 in the following week.

What comes surprising is that while the show's ratings have been on the lower side in India, UK ratings have been impressive over the last few months. The show remains the top show on Colors UK despite very little promotions. However, the broadcaster looks at the ratings overall and the decision was collectively taken to bring Bigg Boss 8 in its place to bring in a higher viewership.

Rangrasiya' launched in December last year. It stars Ashish Sharma, who is one of the favourites to win this year's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' and TV sensation Sanaya Irani.
