Thakan: 1st epi review

After watching the first episode of Thakan, it drove home the point as to why I can't watch hindi soaps. Coz I just can't relate to characters who are shown so clearly black or white and where teh main female protagonist is shown as a martyr and to shown her greatness all other characters are shown as shallow and selfish.

No offense to anyone, but it was simply too much that it was only Sadaf who felt a great deal of responsibility towards the family and the rest of the members in the family were totally indifferent and callous towards the hardships the entire family is facing, except their on individual problems!

And as though this was not bad enough, there is the good-for-nothing daamad and elder daughter ready to cast allegations. If this was a peek into what's going to happen in the future episodes, which it surely is, den dat's another drama down the drain for me.

Kaash zyada shows gulzaar hote.😉

Edit: Forgot to mention Saba Qamar is so beautiful and she has acted really well. The rest of the cast were just abt OK, don't know I feel dat way coz dey were shown so unbelievably selfish or dey really weren't so good.😳

Zindagi doesnt seem to be picking good shows from Pakistan. Apart from ZGH all shows are typical.

So true and I haven't got interested, forget abt hooked, to any other show on Zindagi (I knw I am very hard to please, but still😆). I just watch d shortcut segments aired and get the gist of the shows, but none seem to appeal to me.

Now m watching Dastaan online.😃

Thankan has nothing new to offer in terms of story I am watching it for Saba the lead actress she was so good in Maat as the antagonist.

The name itself is so depressing! After such a name the interest goes down by a half. But even then I watched yesterday's episode for the lead actress since I had liked her in Maat. TBH I think she should stick to negative roles, this abla naari thing...she isnt that good with it. The acting seems strained. She was so effortless in her role as Saman.

Zindagi needs to realize that people will watch Pakistani shows if they are different. These type of shows we get on every other Hindi channel & are the precise reason why we started watching Zindagi...to get away from those.

its same story of imagine tv s serial jyoti... it was nice show ..

Zindgi should come out with something new in the storyline . what shows i have seen are different in story line . Its the teething period of Zindgi . So should be out with some quality ones .

ZGH spoiled us all 😆 i've not watched jyoti serial but if it had 100 plus episodes then i'm not intrested i'm watching Thakan for saba she is a good actress so far only 2 episodes are aired so can't make pridictions about the upcoming tracks the story is nice & represent the tilte Thakan
in many families we can found this story where a girl sacrifice her dreams& become a machine to fulfil the needs of the family
zindagi show selection is not impressive there are many geners of pak shows romantic, comedy,drama etc they are picking very dry subjects they should go for other nice pakistani serials like

Akbari Asgari
Mister Theater series which can replace Kitni girahein baki hai
Mora Piya
Talkiyan
Alpha bravo charlie
comedy sitcomes like bulbulay,nadaniyan

zindagi is repaeting nurpur ki rani again no idea why they can start classic pak shows too
