What's brewing between Shweta and Ashish?

Shweta Shinde is flummoxed that leaving the sets with her co-star has provided much fodder for the gossip mongers. And the rumour mills have gone into an overdrive linking her to actor Ashish Kapoor, her co-star in Parivaar. However, the actress firmly denies the link-up. "I know how these rumours started. Once I was supposed to leave at 6 pm, after the shoot, but I was delayed because my shots were not over, at 8 pm when I was about to leave Ashish was leaving too. He asked me if he could drop me somewhere and I asked him to drop me on the way. The same incident was repeated a few days later. And the next thing I know is that I am being linked to him! Next time I'll think twice before taking a lift from my co-star," says Shweta. But sources on the sets insist that they also spend a lot of time together. Shweta clarifies that they are "just good friends". "As cliched as it may sound, that's what I have to say. Is it really that weird for one colleague to give another colleague a lift? I am sure many people do that," she says. The actress says that she
got to know about the rumours when a unit member told her about it. "He said, 'You should not have left with him that's why you are being linked'. I just couldn't understand the logic behind that," she says.
So, have the rumours affected her equation with Ashish? "This is a professional hazard and I have accepted it. So, one just has to learn to laugh at such things. Ashish is a friend and we share a great chemistry on screen and that won't be affected by all this," she says confidently.
