Can't comment on whether the TRP was correct or not, as I haven't seen the charts, but I think the problem can come because of the start time of 8.15 pm. The 7.30 show may not face that problem because it started at its regular time. As far as I know, the TRPs are wrto start time, so just a possibility.

Trp of 5.4 makes sense because it was a 45mt per episode track which gave CVs the space required to properly develop the track instead of rushing the climax.

It also stands to reason that a 45mt action packed track week will do better than the previous (5trp) and following (4.8) weeks. The current 4.8 is not bad and i think it is because of the drugged A track rather than Gauri's return.
