Raman's love for Shagun !

It was always admitted that Shagun was Raman's first love..in orevious episode Mrs Bhalla said that Raman loved Shagun more thn his life !!
bt y I am feeling that he never loved Shagun?I feel it was just an Attraction !!
Shagun is beautiful no doubt..so Raman just liked her ..she was his wife nd his childs mother..so naturally he had feelings for Shagun nd that isn't love-

(my thoughts..mayb bcz I want Raman to love only Ishita for the first nd last time)

Raman was attracted towards shagun and later fall in love with her deeply and madly and he was proud to have beautiful wife like her. He fell in love with her outer beauty but he loved her.

In case of ishita he is falling for her inner beauty rather than her outer beauty. He proud to have ishita as a wife not because she is beautiful but she is true life partner true friend and beautiful as a person.

love is just common word. it has various types like mother love, father love, friend love, relation love. in all these type of love has intentions and care. similarly Raman had a love for wife because he knows that he have to care his better half. so he showed too much care to shagun. but she left him. but in real love,first we are attracted by someone and then we are impressed by their actions and finally we love them the way they are without expecting anything from them. same happened in IshRa case, initially IshRa married for ruhi sake. then they impressed by each other's goodness. they helped them without expecting anything from other. finally they loved each other. they don't have to live like couples but they do (here i didn't mean physical relation but love and care)but in shagun case, she is only selfish. she left him for money. then Raman decided there is no love out there, it's just selfish and practical. but when Ishita came into his life he understood the meaning of love. it's just my opinion.

i think he trully loved Shagun, and around the time adi was born she probably loved him too. the heart has the capacity to love more then one person in its lifetime. in hind sight he may feel foolish now that he is falling for Ishitha. the difference is that the present Raman is not the past Raman, and this Ramans perfect life partner is Ishitha.

Of course he loved Shagun..It was shallow in a way cos he fell for her beautiful face rather than her nature/ personality but i wouldn't ever argue on the fact that he loved her..Infact, he was borderline obsessed cos he went to the extent of ignoring his own daughter for six years just because her face / the mole on it reminded him of his first wife & her betrayal..You don go batshit crazy just because a wife you were attracted to deserted you..The problem with Raman is that he loves/ hates in extremes..He made Shagun the centre of his universe & eventually paid a price for it..On the other hand, with Ishita, he fell for her character/ personality more than anything else..The physical attraction came in much later..The fact that he truly loved Shagun back then doesn't exactly lessen his feelings for Ishita at this point in any way..

I think he did love Shagun at the time he was married to her and that is why he was hurting so much.

I think at this time presently he is not in love with Shagun anymore.

He's definition in loving someone has changed because he is also getting loved,care and respect which he might not have got from Shagun
