Aahil: I'm still mad!

Aahil was totally throwing a temper tantrum today, reminding her that he was still mad because of the mean things she had said and that he was not talking to her. All that silent treatment and pouting, damn! It was so cute!

Aahil is very basic I find, all he wants is someone to take ownership of him. Someone who demands that he BELONGS to them. Like Tanveer does that. Sanam doesn't get that all he wants is some good old fashioned "haak zatanah" and he will be putty in her hands. Arnav was like this too. Though, Arnav was better developed. Aahil is their mid-way soap invention, so they didn't give enough depth to the character. All he has is child abuse. He needs more.

KV would have done so much with more depth, really wish he had the whole show so that the CVs would take time to etch out the character. Anyways, he is still doing a lot on his own. Today, in the shooting video I saw how he discouraged the director from making the jealousy so abusive. It is true that 4Lions often shows abuse to mean passion, it is a thin line. I am glad an actor had the sensitivity to see that it is not right. He balanced well on that line. The CVs weren't doing their job of balancing so well. So he is adding depth where he can. Very impressed. 👏

KV added his a new life to Ahil. it would be different without him. Season 2, was not a fresh show not it got huge time for starting becoz of different well known controversy despite all this CVs are doing a great job. nice post

Yes, not really easy to bring up a dying show in three months. The CVs have done this before in many shows (talking generally) but it usually leads to a downfall. This is the one of the only times when a new guy has become more popular as a character and the TRP has gone up. So, I have to give KV a lot of credit because he is the unique element in this repetitive style of revamping a soap.

I love grouchy, baby, pouty Aahil more than the loverboy Aahil TBH. 😳 He was SOO cute in yesterday's episode. I had the urge to pinch his cheeks at times...

I agree, his character hasn't been developed well enough. I guess they haven't had enough time to develop any of the season 2 characters properly and the lead up to the leap was very rushed too. IMO Aahil is one of the more developed characters though, I find his character has been the most consistent in terms of characterisation so far in QH2. If you compare Sanam's characterisation, they have toned her down a LOT from the start in order to make the distinction between the characters Sanam and Zoya VERY clear.

True, all Aahil yearns for is love! He wants to be cared for, he wants someone to worry for him, cry for him, smile for him. :) I'm so happy now he has someone in his life to do all that for him and more. 😉
Finally, he is going to get his fair share of love and happiness. Poor thing is sadly under the misconception that he is unworthy of love. :(

KVB would have done SO much better with more depth. However, his current portrayal of the character ARI has been nothing short of excellent. Despite his character not having enough depth, he has totally marked his stamp on it and made it his own! He adds his own touch to the style, mannerisms and aura of Aahil that makes the character even more likable if that is even possible. :)

I also noticed how he had alluded to the director that passion and jealousy =/= abuse! Totally applaud him for that! 👏

Agreed. Subhi has been consistent throughout, working the hardest and longest. This is her show all the way.

Agreed with everything you wrote. I am so glad he pointed that out too. That's his wife, he won't be squeezing her hand to death just because he is mad at her. It was so sweet KV said he FELT the violence. So sensitive. Something tells me he is good husband material 😆
