From the distance appears a procession of musicians, 6 nadhasvaram and 6 tavil players, all of them bare-bodied and strapping. They are all clones of the same character. Their sonorous music is mesmerizing. Behind them are 12 strapping, bare-bodied warriors wielding shining swords. These too are clones of the one same character. They are followed by 12 archers and 12 cavalrymen, also clones of the same character As they march in unison the archers and the swordsmen flex their muscles and display their martial skills.

And, now, a gilded palanquin appears, borne by half a dozen strapping bare-bodied men on each side. These too are clones of the one same character.

Yes ... they are all clones of King Shah. The musicians now work up their chords to a crescando. Suddenly, a high priest, yes, another Shah Rukh clone, descends from the heavens in a cloud of incense. He approaches the palanquin, gently pulls aside the brocade curtains and offers a hand to our birthday girl, our very own Pat.

As she slowly steps out of the palanquin, a dozen Shah Rukh clones rush up to her and sprinkle her feet with rose water. They then shower her with red roses as she ascends the golden throne.

May she be queen for the day, waited upon by 100 Shahrukh Khans. Best wishes, Pat.
