Granny comes to Rachana's room to wake her up but gets surprised on seeing her ready without creating any fuss... Granny wonders what's wrong with her as the room is neat and clean and it looks like she selected the dress without much confusion... She looks in the balcony where Rachana was talking on the call. Granny gets another surprise on seeing her wearing pink salwar suit which she bought for Rach, which she dint wear yet saying she will wear it on some special occassion. Rach sees Granny in her room and hangs the call. She wishes her good morning but instead of replying Granny goes out starts seeing searching something in the sky..
"Granny... what r u looking at??"
"Sun's direction.. i am checking it's still in the east or changed it to the west.."
"Ha ha ha... Very funny. Granny u can start PJ coaching classes. U r becoming expert in it."
"Sure.. but promise me u won't start another in my competition as i know u can beat me in that also."
"Neways... how m I looking??"
"u always look pretty.. Anyways is there some function in office??"
"i am not going to office today.. i have taken an off as i have to work on my special report.. So m going to rehab. Nothing special."
"Rehab... wearing this suit. Ahem Ahem... Something special... someone special... Something is fishy.. yesterday u were talking about love and today wearing this suit... Temme naa what is it??" Granny tickled Rach.
"Nothing Granny... Just for a change. I want to experiment with my looks u know." Saying so she ran out of her room to avoid further questioning...
Granny laughs on it and says, "I have raised u... I know u more than u know urself.. I wish u get the man of ur dreams."
Rach plays with Bruno while Granny calls her for the lunck.. Rach looks at Yummy food but than cribs on Granny on working so much inspite of having maids. Granny gives her patent reply, "I will retire the day u will make tasty food for me." Rach dint reply as she only likes to make dishes and not dal chapati. Hurriedly she gulps the food, grabs her keys and runs towards the car.. In few seconds she was out of Granny n Bruno's view.

Romi who was pacing around the room gets a call from John... john tells him that it's time to break all the contacts and change the sim. Romi for the last time tries to reason with John for selecting someone else for this job but John shows fake trust on him and convinces him to continue the job. Unwillingly Romi agrees and hangs the call. He takes out his old sim and breaks it into two piece. and inserts the new sim in it. Monu who was looking at him picks the sim and runs away. Romi dint pay attention to him and continues his work..
Monu is playing in her room whenRach arrives there... She looks around his stuff and notices a sketch among them... She picks it up and realizes that's it copy of her tattoo. She asks monu from where he got it.. when Monu replies tht yesterday he picked it from the ground.. She gives him the chocolate she brought for him and keeps the paper in her bag and moves towards Romi's room.

Doctor comes for Romi's check up and says they need to give him injection... Rach who has arrived there by now smiles on thinking that now this macho man will behave like a kid and will make some stupid face... It's not new for her as she has seen many people fussing over the injection. She takes out her mobile to take his pic so that she can tease him later. The doc pricks the needle in his arm.. He takes it with an ease. Her face falls in disappointment but what amuses her most is that he dint even blink his eye while taking the injection as if he dint felt anything.
"A tough man indeed... No issues, I will find some other ways to tease him.. Right now i need to focus on my motto and Remember Rach... No blushing and no eye lock.. Straight friendship." She thought in her mind.
She enters the room with her own bubbly self. "Hi Romi... how are u??"
"Fine" he said while looking at her. He feels she is looking like some angel in indian attires... "No Romi... she is just the target." He reminded himself in mind.
"So now tell me about urself.." Asked Rach.
"What do u want to know.."
"Anything or I should say everything... Let's start with ur name.. Is Romi ur real name?? What's ur full name??"
"Romi.. that's it. I am an orphan so doesn't have any surname."
"Ohh.. I am sorry."
"It's ok.. now it doesn't affect me anymore.. I do not have much to tell me about myself.. u temme about urself.."
" What should I tell about myself... I am Rachana Jadhav.. works as volunteer here" she said.
"She intentionally hid the reporter part". He though in his mind.
"I live with my Granny, bro Adi and Bruno... My pet." She continued..
"Ohh so it's name is Bruno.. I hope he had awesome sleep with my biscuit. And bro.. I dint knew about him.. is he stays with her than why Maya told me that she stays alone.. I need to find out." He thought.
"Granny is my sweetheart... she cooks for me and take care of me.. My parents died in an accident and my granny took care of us.. And Adi.. he doesn't live with us but I am sure some day she will come to live with us. He is younger to me so I love him a lot." She said while remembering Adi.. She gets bit emotional while speaking but hides it from Romi.
"Why is she sounding strange.. may be missing bro n thank god he doesn't live here. " He thought.
"When my parents were alive we used to have lots of fun.. Adi and i used to go on drives with them.. Though he is much smaller to me but I liked to chat with him. He too used to tell evrything about him but.. " She tries to hide her pain and asks him, "what about ur childhood??" She realizes that it's not the good wuestion to ask as Romi already told her that he is an orphan.. She begins to apologize but than sees him lost in his own world..
Romi was having flashbacks of his childhood.. He sees himself trying to find a place to hide.
Flashback
Romi is running on the blooded road and trying to find a place hide himself. Finally he sits inside a cemented tunnel.. and sneaks around.. People are fighting and killing each other.. Hindu-Muslim riots are taking place.. Romi's basti has caught fire.. his only brother died in it. He doesn't remebers his age correctly may be he was 4-5 years old. He was scared to look out and trying to hide his head under his knees to avoid the bloody sight. He hears someone crying outside.. He looks around and sees a little child of 1-2 yrs old crying while sitting at the end of the tunnel.. He fears that she will be the part of massacre and picks her in his arms. The girl stopped crying and he asks her name, she replied "Lani" She lisp. In such a violent atmosphere her voice worked as balm on his pain.. He laughed a bit and says.. "Rani".. such a pretty name. "Friends??" He extended his hand to shake with her. She who doesn't understand the meaning of frinedship just placed her palm on his hand and smiled. The two were oblivious of the world around them now. After few hours the the road fell silent. The only voice they can hear was of police sirens.. A constable finds them over there and asks about them.. Romi tells him about his basti and how he met Rani.. Constable takes them to inspector and he doesn't remember how they reached orphanage from there.
Flashback ends
Once again he remembers Rani and kept silent about him. The pain of losing pic was still there in his heart.. his eyes were staring at the roof as if trying to hide the pain and anger which he has towards the family who took away Rani from him.
Rach who was looking at him realizes there is something which he is hiding from her, may be some pain.. She feels guilty onasking such question to him.. She feels something wet on her eyes and gets shock on seeing tears falling down from her eyes. She wipes them and calls him "Romi, I am sorry." Romi who was in deep pain feels as if someone called out at him in affection.. He feels as if it's Rani's voice which worked at balm on his fear at that day. He moves around in excitement but sees Rach sitting beside him. She extends her hand to console him but hesitates a bit. She finally extends her hand and says, "Friends??"
Raghav for whom now friendship word has lost the meaning nods in agreement and keeps his palm on her hands. Both feels unusual but they keeps mum and let their eyes talk.
"Now, we are not strangers.. but ur frined.. u can share ur pain with me.."
"u won't understand.. no one can understand. Leave me on my own.. U don't know how dangerous I am."
"i do not care.. now u r my friend and I can't see my friend in pain."
Monu giggles again on seeing them and they comes out of their riverie. "Why guys always stare at each other" Monu asked innocently. His question strartles both of them..
"U have become too naughty Monu.. I won't leave u know" Rach replied to avoid the embarrassement.
"First catch me.. " he replied while running in the room.. Rach too runs behind him.
Monu hides himself behind Romi and whispers in his ears.. "What happened to my car."
"Tonigh.. that's a promise." he replied frustrated but changes his expressions on finding Rach staring at him.
"Ok.. my work is done. I am going." Monu said while showing thumb to tease Rach.
"What work??" Rach asked.
"That's boys secret." He winked at Romi and shows his thumb to him as if saying deal. Romi too replies by showing his thumb.
Rach laughs on it and Romi gets mesmerized by her beauty.
Rest of day passed with usual talks.. Rach was blabberring about Bruno and Granny and Adi while Romi was the mute spectator... For the first time he was not irritated by any's blabber.
Finally Rach leaves from there after promising to come tomorrow. She leaves the premise and like yesterday looks at the window but today Romi was there to bid bye to her.. She smiled at him hoping him to smile in return but he just waved.

Rach reaches her home and plays with Bruno.. she tells Granny about the day and Romi but avoids talking about the attachment she feels for him. Granny gets worried on hearing that he is involved in drug racket as she can clearly see the feeling Rach is developing for him. Rach finally comes in her room and opens her closet to take out her diary. The photo fells from it and remins her that she had to go to orphanage to find about this friend and she forgot it coz of Romi.. A mention of Romi brought a smile on her face.. But than she remembers the moment when she asked him about his childhood. She takes out her diary to write..
