This was simply adorable. The way Raman takes Ruhi away to comfort and reassure her of his love is simply too cute for words. Also this scene has just added fire to my anticipation for the moment when the couple will finally find themselves in the process of getting married!

Lovely, lovely, OS collection.

I have heard soulful renditions of all these keertanais courtesy my mother who is an avid Carnatic music aficionado.

The way in which you managed to connect the songs and situations in the show is truly remarkable! And putting your stories in contexts that are removed from the show, albeit relatable is also another merit of your stories.

BTW whenever I see Ruhi and Ishita's bond, I am reminded of "Thaye Yashoda undan".

Ruhi's Ishima is someone who cherishes her with all the force of her heart, her Yashoda thaay. I just randomly remembered this song in this context:)

Dear friends,

If you are reading this, first of all a huge thank you for such a warm welcome you guys gave me in this forum.

Secondly, if there is one story I have huge confidence on, it is this and hence I wish to work on it and publish it someday. Hence, I have to remove it from here. I hope you will understand.

Love,

Veil/ Shika

Oh my goodness! You updated! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
And it is such a beautiful update. These two are playing a dangerous game, toying with fire in a manner of speaking. Once again you have created such a rich scene! And the flashback brought the movie mode really come alive.

Hmm, interesting. Raman and Ishita's history is very intriguing indeed. It seems that she's holding her heart back for some reason, and she is not as unmoved as she appears to be. And there's also this back story which seems to be on the cards for us...looking forward to it unravelling.😉

And I love how you portrayed the Punjabi-South Indian culture-clash through a little glimpse. Sometimes the show goes overboard with it, but here, I could actually relate to this episode. As a small child from South India, transposed anew and completely alien to a North Indian city, one of the first things that an annoying classmate had to tell me was an entire diatribe about how dosai was superior to idli. All the while gorging on my mom's malligai-poo like soft idlis and finishing my tiffin😆 So this brought back some fond(!) memories😳

And Thyagarajar's keertanais seem to be an apt choice for this story considering the name of the protagonist. BTW, I am always amused by how Raman is actually more of a South Indian name compared to Ishita. And lemme think when was the last time I met a South Indian named Ishita...😲...NOT!!!😆

And Marukelara. I, with my practically non-existent knowledge of Carnatic music, was moved by Nityashree Mahadevan's rendition. I just love her version. I have nothing to compare it with, but I still love hers😃
