It started up very cutely. An alarm shrilly screams, and Aahil is startled from his slumber grumpily.

Putting the offending clock off he finds a note.
I know you don't like waking early,but today is an important day. Haya is getting married and we need to go early.I left you something... Sanam.
Loved his cute grumpy grumbling, and how he recovered so quickly when he saw what she left for him.
A brand new tux. Fancy looking. He loves it, but before he could react, Sanam appears at the door, and he pretends disinterest.
"Sorry, there was so little time to shop. And you were very busy with work. So I had this brought for you. I hope you like it..." she looks at him expectantly. He ponders for a minute, and she feels disheartened, worried.
She looks away, thinking it was a bad idea to buy it ...then it came. A softly spoken phrase...

He is watching her closely, her profile still, face averted. She smiles and suddenly Lateef appears, telling them to hurry, "Begum Sahiba needs you both immediately!!"
They arrive to a tense scene. Tanveer is pacing, upset and furious that someone has stolen the necklace the Sheikh had given Sanam.
She loudly complains that it's lost and someone has to pay. "Who could it be, your safe is locked by key..?"
"Sanam."
The look Aahil has when he heard his mother accuse Sanam was mindblowing! Shock, disbelief, anger, defense all displayed on his face. He is appalled that Sanam of all people is accused.
Sanam vehemently denies. She presses on Sanam, only you are the other one who has the key. Rehan stands by and listens with sympathy.
"You took it didn't you? Just admit it! It was your necklace, i know. I was only keeping it safe. If you had wanted it you need only ask. But to take it like this...If you didn't take it then who else could it be !!!"
Sanam pleads her innocence, horrified at being accused like a common thief in front of everyone. "So!? Are you saying there's a thief in the house, then?! It must be them and not you!?"
It becomes more and more uncomfortable as Tanveer presses Sanam on and on to admit her guilt. "You may have never seen such precious jewelry before, so it's understandable that you want to keep it. Times may change but not a person's base instincts. Just say you took it, don't lie!"
Aahil looks very annoyed now..
"Ammi...! There's no reason for Sanam to lie. She is saying she didn't take it, so she wouldn't have. I'm don't think Sanam did. If its not here, then it must be somewhere else. There must be another explanation..."
Tanveer is stunned. She is forced to swallow her accusations. But she places blame on Sanam, her carelessness with the keys must be the reason. She cannot take it that she has lost her stranglegrip over Aahil.
Aahil very politely reasons that she is making a big deal over a small thing. He knows Sanam wasn't terribly attached to the jewelry, he saw her indifference to it the night before. He defuses the situation and takes leave to get ready for the wedding.
He stops by Sanam and says "Chalo..." That was incredibly sweet. He realized she is being attacked here, wanted to get her out of there. But Tanveer is not done.
She wants to take back Sanam's set of keys. Aahil is having none of that. He puts it down firmly, that Sanam also has her responsibilities here, and not to make a big issue out of this.
"Chalo..." So protective, so defensive. Yet so polite.
Sanam says her thanks so effusively. She is so touched at his coming to her defense. She is thanking him just as she thanked Rehan before.
Trust is so fragile.Nobody had trust in me back there, but you were with me. I never expected any help from you. But I was wrong. Despite your hate and dislike for me, still you defended my honor. This is a huge thing for me...You wouldn't simply point a finger at anyone, you are fair.I thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Aahil is bothered by the false understanding in her words."She keeps repeating the same thing! But I don't hate you! I don't dislike you! I love you !!" He shuffles uncomfortably, his face averted.
<some abrupt editing here, it looks like a small scene was cut out! Shame, Aahil's face would've been interesting to see>
Before he could say anything, Sanam's phone rings. This Faiz! Always butting in at the wrong time! *grumbles* The moment is lost, and he leaves to get ready.
Razia Bi discovers Seher , after watching video footage on Rehan's laptop. She will plot now. Oh God.
Sanam talks to Rehan. He asks if she is hurt about the accusations. She says she is but she graciously praises Aahil to him.
Rehan wanted to tell Begum Sahiba himself that she was wrong to accuse Sanam that way. He assumed a right to do so that Sanam didn't know he had. She says some hurtful words to poor Rehan.
She's Aahil's mother. How can you go and tell her she's wrong? She doesn't even believe her own son, leave an employee like you. The hurt in Rehan's face!! (oh you poor baby!) But Sanam apologizes quickly.
You always told me that he is good inside. Today I saw it myself. He isn't as bad as I thought him to be. He stood with me today, and spoke of my rights. He is good to my family and is willing to join my sister's wedding celebrations. I'm so happy Rehan...
She is telling Rehan that she is growing fond of her husband. Rehan got it. I'm almost cried at this point. She asks for her salary from Rehan, to buy a gift for her sister.
Rehan is appalled. And gives her everything he has. How sad. Poor girl is married to a terribly rich guy, gifted precious gems, is accused of theft; now she is so hesitant to ask them for money. So she takes her salary from Rehan from before marriage, not a penny more.
Asad would've been so proud of her...
She confides that she misses her Badi Ammi, alot. And Aahil walks by. He misunderstands that she is missing Rehan instead.
Precap: Haya discovers who her groom is. And Tanveer tries to murder Dilshaad.
Aahil and Sanam have a horrible fight.
A:If I'm such a terrible person, there's no need to live with me!
S: Even I don't need you in my life. I want freedom from this farce of a marriage !!
Aahil's heart breaks into a million painful shards...
