Simple.. u think she would've still been the number one? add Queen too. All came the same year. What if she had picked these over crappy Gori Tere etc... she would've still been the top actress or you think Deepika (without these movies) would've still been better?

LOL.. Kareena was never offered Queen. Why do people insist on repeating this? The Director told it as plainly as possible that no one but Kangana was in contention for this role.

Deepika owes her career to both Kareena and Katrina.

She would still have been a flop heroine if Katrina had not rejected YJHD and Bebo CE/RL.😆

spare the horror. m glad DP did them and they were enjoyable coz of her wonderful portrayal of Meenama and Leela.

DP doesn't owe anyone anything. She worked hard in the roles given to her. made them believable and so her success is her own.

whoever rejected them, their bad luck and wrong decision.

DP did a good job. Can't see KKK as meenamma

For RL, the chemistry was required. Again DP was a better choice

Begum doesn't look South Indian. You just cannot wear jumkhas and gajra and mouth a few words in a terrible Tamil accent to pass for South Indian. Deepika was not great, but she was convincing.

Alia apparently has some Tamil Brahmin grandmother, so who knew dressing her up to be South Indian actually worked.

Begum could have pulled off Ram Leela very well, look wise though IMO. She looked nice in the trying on pictures and looked very, very nice in her wedding clothes.

I think she would have still been number 1, no doubt. She would have been good in RL in terms of acting but doubt she'd have bought the same chemistry with Ranveer the way DP did.

DP was perfect for CE. Kareena didn't reject the film, srk rejected her, he wanted DP. I don't think DP owes her career to kat or kareena, if DP acted awfully in these films, she would have been written off. Her hard work, dedication and improvement in her acting has led to her success.
