rashi modi

hlw friends,um a very old viewer of saathiya.i left watching sns since last 3 months for day to day business.suddenly i heard from my mom that the character 'rashi' death track is going on sns.i seriously shocked.rucha as rashi is the only lead which is from early starting of the show,how stupid idea cud be it to end this character.she is sneky,clever,scheming thats why i like her chacter[completely different type lead],i really dont like gopi bahu type over crying character[bcoz i think one who dont raise their voice for their own,actually they r not perfect for any place].but i simply not happy about it.this show,s one of main lead is dead n another is replaced[remember our lovely gia].we all know that saathiya has no male lead.bcoz coming for 1 or 2 scene to give 1 or 2 dialouge is not addressable as lead [jigar n ahem].from the begining i saw many people just hated rashi for her schemingness.but if she is selfcentered then so as kokila n ahem.kokila tells lot about rules n regulation.but point to be notice,she always makes those rules which favours her own son,bahu.she always discriminates between ahem n jigar so as rashi n gopi.ahem only care about his own children,wife,mother.according to me hetal family is so good hearted than kokila,s.but these stupid director just for trp reason dont give better space to hetal than kokila.so i think may be this show is high in trp but it just lost its actual way.may be it should be off air soon or take 20 year leap by making meera as new gopi n vidya as new rashi /or samar n sahir as new ahem n jigar n their wives as new rashi n gopi.again i will say if rucha was leaving sns then they sud find a new girl for rashi,s role,but putting an end of it,was totally a wrong decission. n please change saath nivana saathiya to saath nivana sasuma,bcoz in this serial give more importance on saas-bahu connection rather than saathiya theme.

Read part of your post will read it all later but tbh replacement for rucha will be unlikely to have worked well. Rashi by rucha is 4 years old and a complicated character. I think there. Are not many versatile actresses that can play rashi which was a unique character so it was best to kill rashi

I totally agree with you darkknight. They should not have killed Rashi. That was a very harsh decision on part of CVs ONLY to stretch the story by introducing new character and to raise TRPs. It is not that they can't find good actresses to portray the role. That is really a funny reason. Why can't they find actresses...if they could replace the well loved Gia and succeed in it, they could have easily replaced Rucha. Industry is full of talent. Each day there is a new soap and in that we have a new bahu who is winning over audience. Just for proving my point I will suggest two actresses who could have easily outdone Rucha in portrayal of Rashi...Suhani from Sasural gendaphool and Kushi from Is pyaar ka. I am not saying only these two could do justice to the role..there are tons of talented ones out there who could have more than justified it and brought in fresh energy. And audience would not have minded the replacement unlike in the case of Gia as they clearly know it is Rucha's own decision and she has to leave.

Anitaholic..I am not disrespecting your opinion. You are entitled to have yours. This is my personal view. I strongly feel like darkknight above that there is no meaning to the title anymore and audience are insulted in a way by rubbing such a harsh decision on them. Oh wait..but when have the CVs cared for audience?

i agree..the concept of the show doesn't go with their title..

I am glad that they killer her coz nobady can really do justice to her role ... that smile is a signature smile of rashi ... or the way her brain works ... I still mis gia as gopi she was so good ... what more can I say.

Hmm..I still don't understand guys..you love her so much that you rather have her killed than replaced!!?? My point was..anyways Rucha's leaving was inevitable, can't stop that. Atleast if she was replaced, Rashi Modi would have been alive no...if not for the audience atleast for the sake of Jigar and kids. Anyways it's already done..so no point of me shouting from roof tops, isn't it? 😛
