* while i was just stomach-churning disgusted by the most of the characters, i must admit to being intrigued by ... daksha chachi.
seriously, she may be a loony cartoon, but there is a whiff of the old generation in her that is still true. she is desperately nosy. she seriously play bedroom and kitchen politics, and focussing on getting kids married off.
but i do think that when she mentioned baa's jewellry to the three cackling hyenas very innocently -- she wouldn't dream of taking the stuff without baa's permission. nor, i suspect would she ever break open baa's safe to take anything.
and her distress and concern about the bhoomi-abhir sleaze fest was quite touching. i don't know if it's the actress' portrayal, or the lines the scriptwriters have for her, but her being disturbed for archita, the resignation she had about mohini's reaction to finding out about abhir's infidelity. i thought it was cute the way she did a mental check-list to find who the "family elder" was to whom she should "complain" about this, and the round-about way she tried to tell (kt-obsessed, hygiene-challenged) eklavya to do something about his family.
daksha-c was kinda the only sweet thing -- definitely for this show this week, and also for daksha-chachi's character.
i don't think there was anything else that was sweet, do you? đ
