Cvs r really sick n misogynist🤢😔. They never show a woman working professionally. Cvs truly hate n degrade women. They only showed Dilshad as a working woman during Ansh's custosy inYash vs Prashant case. They even shown Tanveer as a designer but never showed her working. Why d hell they never shown any women working but they shown regressive things 4m Haseena like women only sits at home not work outside. Why d hell Zoya had to ask Asad to let her work after marriage? He is not her boss. Asad told her dat she sud stay at home n clean d mess she makes. I wanted to slap him but later said dat he was joking n he is wid her wateva she wants to do. But Zoya was never shown working. I hated her dialogues after marriage like humesha kaam kaam kaam to Asad. Why did not she herself worked?
After FarMeeraNik track, I wanted Nikhat to learn advanced dancing n open her own dance academy but it never happened.

Now, Sanam sud take proper english, computer n other classes. She sud then get a job. I don't want her to assist or work under Ahil. I want her to work separately. Haya is good in embroidery work. She sud start a small business. Presently, only Asma seems to be shown on d way of being a working woman only to be used n tormented by her future in-laws.

Its high time cvs sud show women working professionally. I mean on her own not wid male lead lead as d boss of d female lead(In QH, even dis is not shown). Still, I hate n am bored of male lead as d boss of d female lead. Why it can't ever be d other way round wid female lead as d boss of d male lead. Cvs sud learn sumthn 4m d new Airtel Video Calling ad where d wife is d boss of d husband. Its a very nice ad to show dat women cazn be better than men n its not necessary dat wen it comes to being professional then men sud always hv higher post than women. In 2000s, Sab TV show Yes Boss, d female lead was d boss of d male lead.

I hope cvs sud soon show women working professionally. In reality, if u see in trains then u see dat 6 out of 10 women works professionally n they wear jeans. But in d show, they give wrong messages by showing dat women r not supposed to work after marriage n sud wear only traditional clothes. Dis is shown in almost all d shows. They show dat why women sud work if d husband is rich? There is sumthn called like making ur own identity.

Absolutely with you on your post. Yeah, they concentrate more on ghar ka plots/politics. I guess its not a concious decision, but something they have not delved on much. A few telly serials do show working women, but not all.
However, for Sanam I disagree that she needs to learn English, etc... I think she can be a good business woman without all that. She has got those magical hands, the never-say-die attitude, hard-work and commitment. She can open her own business. At present I guess she is just waiting for the 3months to get over so she can get out and get going.
Haya has never impressed me... remember they showed her once eating biscuits coz Munisha threw away food in dustbin. Why not whip up a quick dish and stop pitying herself. Also she is happier to not work. She does not appear the hardworking, wanting to carve her own identity kind. She prefers an easy life, which she will get!
About jeans and casual clothes, I think most serial makers have an aversion too...or perhaps they think the TRP women will not like them...
I guess your post is more suited to the general discussion thread. I guess you must take it there, to receive maximum response

Well i agree with your back drop point of women being independantšŸ‘šŸ¼. But i think you're forgetting that Sanam DID work where she used to run her dhaba !! Even now she wants to pick up on that !

As far as CV's only show women at home well thats not new with these dramas but still not that big of a deal. If you dont like their also many other dramas revovled around a certain office so maybe you should watch those insteadšŸ˜›šŸ˜•

Dressing is a choice ! Sanam CHOOSES to wear traditional just like how Zoya CHOSE western. Its all about comfort So i think they both had a say šŸ˜† no one imposed dressing on them !

I don't mean to offend Sanam but meant to say dat even highly educated people go to learn english for advanced n business english. Instead of moving around d house in costly clothes n jewellery, she sud spend her time in preparing for MBA, IAS or other competitive exams. I don't remember food n biscuit thing of Haya. As for jeans, I said it cuz in QH 1 being a highly educated person Asad was so ridiculous n irritating to react to Zoya wearing jeans as if she was wearing a bikini or boobs revealing clothes. He lukd worse than Gaffur n Razia cuz he was brought by Dilshad n made so modern houses but still was very regressive. So I want to say dat I don't live in a big city(I don't live in village or rural area too) but in a normal city n women working separately 4m husband is very normal. A lot of working women wear western clothes dat also married. But in d show, they showed it a very big deal of wearing jeans after marriage n working outside. In my Banking class, there are some of jeans wearing married women cumn for d class.

Angel Juhi.. I agree to most of the above. Yeah, I know knowing English is good, although, just in this case I do not consider it a blocker.
Sanam prefers Indian clothes just like I prefer Indian clothes even though I work in a metro...personal choice ! if I were forced to wear western it would offend me.
But its high time the makers started showing women in normal casual clothes rather than shiny goddy ethnic dresses all the time!
Haya- I remembered just that scene of hers and decided to write her off... She just doesn't have it in her to go out and work. I do agree that clothing is a personal choice and in this day age of liberated world, no woman should have to ask to work! I have never watched QH1 so don't know about ASAD or Zoya

Agree with you Juhi. Zoya being a software engineer didn't do any job. Atleast they could have shown her working for some online jobs. Najma wanted to do MA & after nikkah Imran promised to sent her for pg but she became pregnant & continued her house wifey stuffs. So with zoya. NikhAt I don't have any comments. She never did any thing worth other than troubling other people.
Coming to sanam initially she said she has a dream to open a big motel dilshad motels. At least now they could have showed her focussing on her dream or she can continue her studies. I guess after tenth she couldn't study further because of dilshad's health. So she took over dhabha.
May be seher could be educated. As she so professional opened a computer alarm system so efficiently Atleast she might have educated. Not yet shown about seher's past.

For clothes, I am not just teln abt Sanam but all d other women. In QH 1, Zoya was targetted by many people for her clothing including Asad which became repetitive n irritating. They all reacted as if wore a bikini or intimate skin revealing outfits. No one wears shiny n costly clothes at home. If Zoya wore jeans n once mini-skirt in 2012, 2013 n 2014 then why can't Sanam wear them in 2034? D photo of her parents also has Zoya wearing shirt n jeans. Well, I am talking abt all d girls in d show regarding d wearing of clothes. I am offended wid things dat in QH, only men talk about business while d women act as if they r dumb n don't hv any idea of d business. They always only show men doing deals n meeting while d women only gossip n roam around d house. In yesterday's epi, it was annoying to see 2 men talking abt business while their wives just stand n sit like their husband's show-pieces. Sheikh was very annoying who clearly treated his wives as if he is their master not husband. D wives had to lift their hijab wid his permission. He did not like wen Alisha(Seher) extended her hand to Ahil for shaking hand. He n his other wives gave a look as if Alisha was going to flirt wid him. Was it such a big deal to shake hands?

Not only in QH many shows it's shown that only men talking about business & handling business. Only few shows like pavitra ristha, YRKKH, Jamai raja, YHM women working. Yep in season 1 zoya was insulted badly even though she covers completely her body & her dresses were not vulgur. In season 2 seher is there as a lead who wears modern cloths. Sanam I guess it's her personality to wear traditional cloths. May be for Aahil she will wear modern cloths Atleast once. Yep. In all the shows women wear this kind of costly & glittering cloths in home even while sleeping which is not normal. No one wears this cloths in our house. Coming to that sheik he is one another jerk. He is checking out sanam & he didn't like seher/Alisha asking for a shake hand & he dominates his wives. I have heard most Arabs are like that. So I guess they are showing it here.

Agreed.
Not a single female lead is currently shown working.
And the irony is that only Tanveer was shown working in the beginning in QH1.
Here too Sanam was shown working initially. But then the dhaba was swept under the carpet and is now satisfied being begum. What will she do if Dillu suffers another stroke?
Isnt it time she thought of opening her dhaba so that she has a source of income, now that she wont receive wages as a cook.

Totally agreed. This is what happens on these shows and it really ticks me off. Even if they show a character working, after marriage she doesn't continue working! I don't understand why? Zoya was an IT graduate, but she never worked. Neither before marriage, nor after marriage. Sanam had her dhaba before marriage and wanted to open a chain of dhabas to support her Badi Ammi and Haya, get Haya treatment etc. What happened to all of that? I want Aahil to gift her a dhaba/cafe and want her to operate it and open more. This will be Aahil's redemption and yes, I do want him to be redeemed cause I do like his character but that Dhaba burning act stops me from completely loving him. Please Gul, don't brush this under the carpet and redeem Aahil. In all your shows you are more than happy to show abuse but when it comes to redemption you can't be bothered showing it. Please don't do that this time.
SaHil even be shown romancing in the Dhaba/Cafe. 😳 Rolling in the hay...with Sanam getting the flashback of the first time when she saw Aahil. šŸ˜† And telling him! LOL. I can just imagine his reaction!

The only Gul show where the female lead was shown working after marriage was IPKKND. But even there, Khushi worked temporarily (had her own Dabba service).
