Hit films that did nothing for the actors/actresses in them

Raaz 3 was a hit but didn't really help Bipasha Basu's career much.

Bol Bachchan was a hit but Abhishek Bachchan did not benefit at all, even though quite a few people appreciated his performance.

Asin also pretty much disappeared after Housefull 2 and Bol Bachchan.

There are also quite a few one-hit wonders, whose first films did well but things only went downhill after that. Kumar Gaurav was one such person. Even Rahul Roy flopped, even though Aashiqui was very successful.

There are many films where certain actors n actresses are not benefited.

Vivek Oberoi in K3

Mostly most one among them is Asin all the films she has done has not benefitted to her career in BW.

She is toally disappeared from BW

I won't consider this example. Rahul Roy's Aashiqui was a hit and that's why he got dozens of films afterwards. They didn't click so that's why he became a flop.

Most films without great content which become hits due to gimmicks or goodwill (Race 2 or Dhoom 3), do nothing for the stars.

Also horror films don't do much to stars because the hero is the ghost not the actor.

i will go for dostana too as much the movie were in talk and all but john abhi never got any better movie after it

yes john got force. and i love that movie..i remember it was coming on stargold and told my bro to watch its a good movie.. and he was wow its a good movie.. and now each time its on tv he watch it.

just like wanted we never miss the chance to watch it.. eventhough we have almost every salman khan movie on dvd and me ofcourse on my laptop..

IDK BO and if these films were hits or flops, but Bhai certainly has a few one hit wonder heroines in his list.

Daisy Shah though how she became Bhai's heroine is a mystery in the first place..😒

Revathy (who played the mother of Alia in two states). She is quite a popular and award winning actress down South. She acted in one movie with Bhai and she flopped in BW.

Esha Deol. Dhoom was a hit. Plus how could she fail when Bobby succeeded more ? 😲

ETA: Most mysterious to me of all. Kamal Hassan failed to take off in BW while Sridevi made it to the very top. Kamal, who is versatile,talented, looks good and never took off . I never understood that.
