I think our dad washing SIL feet is different from husbands washing BIL feet...I stand by Astha in this😃...one thing she did good to her dad was to stand on her foot not to wash Shlok's feet👏👏👏...and the other reason when I strongly support😆😆😆is Shlok deserves to wash Sid's feet..Sid is such a sweet heart,atleast washing his feet can bring some change in Shlok's head(AStha's POV AND MINE )🤣

i don't believe in changing anybody in the first place. if you love someone, you accept them as-is and keep yourselves as-is. if you change yourself for someone, you will start expecting the other to change for you and it will cause problems eventually. same is happening with aastha. she wanted her love story with shlok, so she compromised a lot (her parents and their wishes) and now since she has a certain control over shlok😉 and anjali, she thinks she will change everything around her to suit her ideals. aastha, because of her pampered upbringing, doesn't take no for an answer.

both my dad and my brother washed my husband's feet as part of the ritual, but it was all done in a light-hearted manner... like shlok washed sid's feet. whatever the concept was behind having such rituals, my dad, husband and brother didn't let the ritual decide the kind of relationship between them. interestingly, only men are involved in this ritual but they got along so well from day one, better than me and my MIL.😊

regarding aastha not wanting avdhoot to wash shlok's feet, anjali's confrontational behavior might have prompted her to object it. regarding shlok washing sid's feet, i give shlok the complete credit. though he is thought to be an egoist, he could put aside his ego for his sister. actually he washed his feet happily. didn't mind at all.
