yes i know im crazy, two chapters in a day, i'll upload this chapter and wait for a few days for the responses i get...

I would like to point out here that, In my ff Raman and Ishita won't be bound together just for the sake of Ruhi, yes Ruhi is one of the the reason but the attraction, love and sexual tension will always be there, they will want each other both physically and emotionally 😳 they are responsible parents but are also human beings, and humans aren't perfect 😊

Breath of Fresh Air

Chapter 3

Ishita's jaw dropped. All the men in her family were humble and never spoke like this. But this man in front of her was the kind of men she has never met. So, Ishita was stunned for a moment "Aapne mujhe kachra bola?" she asked in a trance.

"maine aisa kab bola, waise tumhe mujhse behtar pata hoga ki tum kya ho haina, sahi hai phir ..."
Ishita recovered soon, no she couldn't win verbal battles with this man. So what there are other ways too, especially when the enemy is in your territory. She smiled wickedly.

"...arre tum hass kyu rahi ho, tumhe kachra pasand hai?"

"nehi nehi, dekhiye woh kya hai na ki hum doctors ka ek protocol hota hai ki chahe patient apka dushman hi kyu na ho clinic mein woh sirf patient hota hai, toh uska acche se khayal rakhna parta hai" she said with an extra sugary smile. "aap baithiye na"

Raman thought, sahi hai ab woh safed jhanda dikha ke peace kar rahi hai toh mai kyu bekaar mein jhagda karu, mai bhi sorry bol hi deta hu "ahem ha ab jab aa hi gaya hu tumhare clinic mein..." he sat on the chair "...toh dikha hi deta hu, tum kaunsa maar dalogi mujhe haina, woh, woh... mai toh tumse yeh keh raha tha ki dekho joh aaj subhe hua..." Ishita who was cleaning some dental tools looked up at him and opened her mouth to say something "... nehi mujhe khatm krne do, woh subhe wala kaand mai hamesha nehi karta, mujhe pata hai tumhe bura laga hoga, par par,... iamsorry" he said the I am sorry' part really fast

"kya bola aapne mujhe sunai nehi diya?"

"arre bola na i m sorry ab dubara nei bol sakta"

"sorry bolke koi ehsaan nehi kr rahe aap mujhpe, aur maaf toh mai aapko kabhi nehi kar sakti, kyuki both galat kiya hai aapne, but ab hum dono mature hai to iss baat ko yahi khatm karte hai, theek hai" "Sarika tools leke aao" she raised her voice to call her assistant.

Ishita thought, chalo maafi toh aapne maang li but mai bhi aapko itni aasani se maaf nehi karungi, badla toh leke rahungi, pehle socha tha daant tod du iski, ab jab sorry bol raha hai toh punishment thoda kam kar dungi. She was staring at Raman without actually noticing him, buzy with her thoughts

"aise kya ghoor rahi ho, nazar lag jayegi mujhe"

Ishita faked a smile "nehi mai soch rahi thi ki apke jaiso ka proper treatment kya hota hai"

"mere jaiso ka kya matlab hai?"

"matlab... woh, woh... matlab aapke daato ka...hehe" she stammered

Raman saw her assistant coming with a tray, and his eyes went wide open when he saw injection on the tray

"dekho kuch bhi karo par injection lagaye bina karna"

Ishita thought, Oh to dus sar waley ravan ko injections se dar lagta hai, wise inko injection ki zarurat toh nehi hai but *evil smile*

"ek minute Sarika zara udhar aao na" she moved further away from Raman and Raman craned his neck to hear what they were talking about

"dekho Sarika dhire bolna, mujhe na iss patient ko glucose ka injection lagana hai" she whispered

"glucose ka injection maam but woh toh fit dikh rahe hai glucose lagane ki kya zarurat hai?"

"dekho mujhe pata hai ki woh fit hai, tum bas mujhe injection la do, koi harm nehi hoga unko, pls"

"but maam... ok mai lati hu" Sarika surrendered

Ishita prayed to murgan to forgive her for this mischief

She smiled and moved back to Raman, in the process her dupatta slipped from one of her shoulders and was hanging on only one shoulder now.

She hovered over Raman examining him with full concentration

Here Raman was having a hard time, Ishita's hand held Raman's jaw which was wide open and now he had his eyes wide open too. Ishita bent towards him to fix his tooth and gave him a glimpse of her hidden treasure.

Raman thought, hey bhagwan jab life mein thodi si shanti aa gayi thi tabhi iss jungle billi ko mere life mein lana tha aapko, accha khasa shareef insaan ki niyat bigad ke rakh di isne. Mera dimag aur 'woh', dono kharab krke hi shanti milega isko. He tried to divert his eyes to other things but Ishita held his jaw and pulled him back "aap dhang se baith nehi sakte kya? chup chap baithiye aapko aaram milega" she said

" kahe ka aaram, chup chap baithunga to pagal ho jaunga mai" he murmured

"aapne kuch kaha?"

"uumm... nehi toh, waise tum yahi view har patient ko dikhati ho kya?"

She looked around "ha, kitna peaceful hai, meri choti behen hai na woh interior decorator hai, ussi ne kiya hai decoration, kyu aapko koi problem hai?"

Atom bomb ke saath mirchi bomb muft muft muft... huh, pata nehi kis bechare ka dimag kha rahi hogi woh choti bomb, he thought. He looked at her and said "arre nehi waisi koi baat nehi hai, both hi accha hai view"

Ishita resumed her job and Raman closed her eyes to control the little sanity left in him. He opened his eyes suddenly and looked at her "waise tum iss type ke kapde roz pehnti ho?" he asked with a weird voice which was the result of speaking with a open mouth

"yeh kya behuda sawal puch rahe hai aap, doctor hu mai aapki, aur waise bhi muh khol ke kaise baat kar rahe hai aap?"

Raman thought she was right, why was he bothered so much, woh kuch bhi pehne, kuch bhi dikhaye, mujhe kya?

"arre dekho doctor kya hai na ki dard boht ho raha hai toh dimag ko divert krne ke liye yeh sab puch raha hu"

"oh accha, ha mai toh hamesha yahi pehnti hu, ha kabhi kabhi meri beti zid karti hai toh saree bhi pehen leti hu"

Beti??? Iski toh beti bhi hai, oh god yeh maine kya kar diya, shit yaar itna guilt feel ho raha hai. He looked up and smiled at her

"woh joh bhi hai mai aaj subhe ke liye sach me boht guilty feel kr raha hu"

"It's ok, galti toh meri bhi thi. Lijiye ho gaya aapka, ab bas ek injection lagana baki hai"

"KYAAA, injection nehi lagana bola than a maine aapse"

"dekhiye yeh boht zaruri hai, aapko nehi pata yeh injection nehi lagayenge na aap toh infection ho jayega aur phir aapko zyada dard hoga... Sarika injection lao"

Raman squeezed his eyes shut, sat still without breathing. "dekhite aap aise saans bandh karke nehi baith sakte, you need to breath, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, look at me once"

He obeyed her, looked into her eyes and inhaled exhaled inhaled exhaled, oh that wonderful tantalizing smell of... umm what was it like lemons? Fresh lemons, he smiled and then frowned instantly, remember Raman she has a daughter? She is married woman. God what's wrong with him, even if she wasn't married he shouldn't think about her in that way.

"we're done" Ishita smiled

"ho gaya?" Itni jaldi, mujhe dard kyu nehi hua, he thought

"ha ho gaya, ab aap counter se apni file le jaiyega, sarika dikha degi aapko"

"oh k " he said awkwardly getting up from the chair and moving towards the door, at the door he looked back once and then marched away

"ajeeb hai yeh ravan" ishita hit her head with her palm and smiled

On his way home, Raman thought about the incidents back at the clinic, it has been ages since he had a light hearted conversation. And this doctor had the magic to relieve him for a few minutes from his stressful life. Maybe all doctors knew this trick; he should have paid more attention to the other doctors.
