Veera was alone in her room. She was crying. She was very upset with the happenings of the day that left her both irritated and shocked. There was slight movement and noise behind her...She did not turn...

Veera: Baldev tu chala jaa yahan se. Mennu koi baat nahi karni hai tujse...

(Baldev...you just leave. I don't wanna talk to you)

Ranvi stood smiling...at what Veera just uttered.

Ranvi: Veera...

Veera: Veerji...aap??

Ranvi: Veera you had not closed your room door.. I just walked in to see if you are fine.

Veera: (A little embarrassed) woh veerji ...mennu laga ki...

(Veerji, I thought..)

Ranvi: ...laga ki Baldev hai...You are right...He wanted to come to see you and started climbing up to your window (laughing) but I told him that I will talk to you and sent him back home. I think even if he is married to you he will still only climb in through your window to meet you, right.

Veera: (Very embarrassed now)...nahi veerji..avvi...

Ranvi: You know Veera...he even told me that you meet him at his home climbing in to his room through his window..

Veera: (Could no longer meet her brother's eyes)..Sorry Veerji...and thinks (I will kill Baldev when I meet him next)

Ranvi makes Veera to sit down with him...and wipes off her tears.

Ranvi: Veera somehow I am feeling very nostalgic today... I was suddenly thinking about our childhood days today...how much times have changed from then, right...you, me, Gunjan and Baldev...Suddenly it all feels so right and so good.

Ranvi: Veera...you know what is the best decision I have taken for you so far?

Veera: umm... My education..?

Ranvi: ummm No...it was a good decision but the best for me is ... Baldev.

Veera: (Smiles)

Ranvi: Yes...it has to be Baldev for me. He is a real shocker to me. I always saw his rough side, his awaragiri and dadagiri sides ...but this to me is too shocking...

Veera: Veerji... I did not understand. Did he offend you by any means Veerji?

Ranvi: No Veera ..No...Forget about offending...he will not even want to see me hurt even a little by any of his actions...if it was within his power...you know why?

Veera: Simple...you are his brother-in-law and he loves his sister Gunjan a lot...

Ranvi: Nahi pagli...no it is not for Gunjan...it is not for me...it is for you...Just for you...I have seen this to my fill in the past two days. Yes, the situations were very very embarrassing but those moments made me realize that this guy is hopelessly in love with you and can go to any extend to keep you happy and contented in life. What better can a brother like me ask for a sister whom he loves more than his life.

Veera: Veerji..Baldev is really loving, caring and good but there are few things that he has not realized still that are making me really nervous.

Ranvi: No Veera...it is not Baldev...it is you who has to realize a few important things or rather moments in life. Life throws up a lot of sweet, bitter, sour moments at us. We have to learn to live and cherish those moments at that particular point of time in our life...If we keep looking at right and wrong at all walks of our life, those moments will wash away before we relish them or even realize them.

Veera: Sorry Veerji...mennu kuch samaj mein nahi aa raha hai...

(Sorry Veerji... I don't understand)

Ranvi: Veera...it is simple. This phase of your life is the sweetest. You and Baldev are in love. You both are to be married soon. I think you should be giving more time to Baldev and stop fighting over silly issues. I know he can be so kiddish at times but Veera...believe me this guy can do anything for you. You have loads of time in future wherein you can make him understand certain things...and when you say something, he really can go to any extend to fulfill them...just for you..

Veera: Veerji...I will definitely do as per your say.

Ranvi: No Veera..you are again wrong...it is not as per my advice...it is as per what your heart says...Listen to your heart when it comes to love.

Veera: Haan Veerji...I will do.

Ranvi: Ok now you call Baldev and speak to him. Poor guy he is as such really tensed and now that you were also so mad at him is making him feel even more worser.

Ranvi touched Veera's head and turned around to leave...when he suddenly looked back again at Veera...

Ranvi: I also have a confession to make today Veera...you know when the issue of Chanchali was going on there came a situation wherein I had to believe circumstances and I doubted Gunjan. I was supposed to be on Gunjan's side but I rather chose to believe a stranger. But Veera today I realized that if it was Baldev in my place he would have fought the world for you...not just a stranger, I think he will even oppose his bheeji for your sake ...I should say you are very lucky Veerakadi...

(Saying this and feeling very light hearted Ranvi left Veera's room)

Veera turned around only to dash in to Baldev's chest (Baldev held veera by her shoulder)

Veera: Baldev..tu...veerji ne kaha ki tu ghar laud gaya hai?

(Baldev...u...Veerji said you had returned home?)

Baldev: Haan...lauta tho tha lekin mein javun tho kaise javun...tum tho naraaz thi mujse...bina tumhe manaye...mein kaise jatha ghar aur kaisse mujhe neendh aathi...aur mennu patha hai mujhe daante bina tujhe bhi needh kahan aanewali hai...

(Ya...I did try going but I know you were angry and how will I go without making peace with you...I will not be able to sleep ... u see. Also I know, without me coming and making it up to you ...you too will never sleep)

Veera: You told my Veerji that I climb in to your room through window, right?

Baldev: Haan...that's the truth right.

Veera: Baldev...tu bhi na...mere veerji hai woh... unse yeh sab kehne ki kya jarrorath thi bala?

(Baldev...ur are simply impossible...He is my bro and what was the requirement to tell him all this)

Baldev: Well...your Veerji asked why am I climbing your window...I said we both climb in to each other's room through the windows everytime...

Veera: then...

Baldev: then what ...he ended up laughing for an hour.

Veera was looking serious...

Baldev: Veerakadi...naraz hai ki?

(Veera are you angry?)

Veera: haan tho?

(Yep...so)

Baldev: Bolo na...kitni naraz hai...taki mein decide Karoon ki kaise manavoon tujhe

(Tell me how much angry you are so that I can decide on my method to persuade you)

Veera: Bahut bahut naraaz hoon mein tujse...kush

(I am very very angry...Happy)

Baldev: Accha..tho ab koi aur rasta baccha hi nahi hai...(He walked up to her door to close and bolt it safely and walks back to her)

(Fine...now there is not any other way out)

Baldev gently lifted up Veera and puts her on her bed and slides in next to her. He slowly removes her dupatta and starts kissing her. His kisses very feathery in the beginning but started to intense up. Veera couldnot bear the heat of the moment. She was so drowning in him when Baldev suddenly stops kissing and looks at her...Veera opens her eyes to meet Baldev's eyes gazing at her intently.

Veera: Baldev...

Baldev: I know Veera, you are worried about me...but I promise.. I will never let your hopes down...mein itna bura bhi nahi hoon Veerakadi... even in future we will talk and find solutions to all our problems...and when things go really haywire and when you are really upset...I will kiss off your worries just like today...is that fine...

Veera was moved to tears and she hugged Baldev who hugged her back.

Veera: Baldev...I really don't know if I could ever love you as much as you love me...but I promise you that I will atleast start trying from today.

Veera: (With a little hesitation) Ok Baldev..tell me something...if your friends fetch you some girl to practice for Suhag raat...will you still listen to your friends and go ahead????

Baldev: Veera ...don't you know the answer to this question ...or is it that you wanna hear it from me...??

Veera: For my sake...please...

Baldev: Veera...my friends know me...they also know the love I harbor for you...they realized my love for you even before I did...Haan thoda paagal jarror hai lekin kamine nahi...jitna bhi mujse pyar karte hai utna hi tera samaan bhi rakte hai.. (Yeah my friends are a little crazy but they aren't rogues ...they respect you veera as much as they love me)

By the way my answer to your question is..."if there will be a day when someone else can take your Veerji's place in your heart then that will be the day you may have to bother of Baldev thinking of some other girl than his Veerakadi"...Ab kush...

Veera had tears flowing down from her eyes now...she hugged Baldev tight and kissed him.
