Atifa and Jalal is definitely a no no ... See the scene where he shouts at Atifa for sending a message to the DEK... Probably he hadn't expected things to happen this fast , he may not have thought of bringing it in the public eye . He asks her if she has forgotten her ' haisiyat' , but later keeps quite and doesn't try to pacify a crying Atifa,just walks out.
had he been in love with her he would never have used the haisiyat word and also have assured her all would be fine.
Clearly he knows what he is getting himself into this time , but yes her DEK call was unexpected for him hence the outburst. Or rather the real Jalal coming in the forefront.
