Shlok didn't even get a chance to close the door, she was all over him. She came at him like a hungry lioness. Her hands were roaming all over his torso. He didn't know what hit him. She kept saying I need you! Let me show you how much I love you" between her kisses.

Sholk pushed her away. "Stop it" what's gotten into you. "What are you trying to do, what do you want to prove?" "that I'm no better than your step father?" Shlok said grabbing Astha by her shoulders.

"I thought this is what you wanted. I thought you wanted me. What do you want from me? When I'm literary throwing my self at you your pushing me away. Make up your mind Shlok. This is not at all easy for me. You knew about my past. You knew this isn't going to be easy for me. But still the moment you feel my anxiety you get angry and you walk away from me. And now when I'm at your mercy and you're asking me what I want. I'm trying to be what you want. I'm giving what you wanted. Can you give me what I want? You can't give me what I want. No one can. I hate you for making me feel like this. I hate you Shlok! Shlok try to hold her and she pushed him away but he grabbed her and tried to put his arms around Astha. She started pounding his chest with her hands saying " I hate everybody. I hate Everybody. I hate my mother. She wasn't looking where she should've been. She should've protected me. I hate her so much. She was suppose to protect me, but she didn't. I hate him. I hate him for what he did to me. For making me feel like shit. How could he do that to me. I loved him like a father. Aren't fathers supposed to be the protectors and providers. He did none. I hate him so much Sholk. I hate everybody that turned a blind eye to my suffering. No body cared enough to see the signs. Nobody cared. Today I'm not even able to give myself to the one who truly loves me, what kind of justice is this? What's was my crime? She was holding on to shlok and sobbing uncontrollably. He tightened his hold and just let her cry. He didn't know what to say. He understood just how much she's suffered. How much it's still effecting her even today. He thought she's over it. But it's far from over. He hated himself for walking out on her earlier. That's what triggered this chain reaction. But in a way now he knows where he stands. His heart filled with regret and love. He didn't know how he can show just how much he really loves her? How can loving someone so much hurt? He used to think. Well now he knows first hand. Love really does hurt.

He carried her to the bed. Gently lay her down. Covered her with the comforter. Made sure she's tucked in. He sat next to her and was soothing her hair. Astha was looking at him with tears softly running down her cheecks. He kissed her forehead and told her to close her eyes and to sleep.

There was a knock on the door. Shlok remembered he had ordered a bottle of Whisky to num down his pain. He quickly got up. She held his hand, he assured her that he'll be back soon. He took the trolley inside and closed it fast. He was in his side of the the bed in no time. Shlok put his arm around her and pulled her close to him. She quickly turned to his side and wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his chest.

While soothing her hair he said "Astha, I hate myself for the way I behaved. I hate myself for the way I made you feel. I'm so sorry for making you feel like this. For putting you through this again. Please forgive me. I should've known better. I'm ashamed of myself. I'm so sorry For being so insensitive. I broke my promise to you already Astha!" She tried to stop him by putting her hand on his lips. But he wanted to confess his guilt. She didn't have a choice. "Astha! I'm sorry for the way I reacted. I was hurt more than anything. I know it's got nothing to do with me. I'm ready to wait for you. I may loose my self control again, I'm only human. If I don't then something is seriously wrong with me. You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. You really do drive me crazy. But I promise you I will not walk out on you again. Do you still love me like before?" Saying he tightened his hold on her.

She looked up at him and said "I know that you love me. I'm sorry for the things I said. I don't hate you. I can never hate you. I'm so sorry for being such a drama queen. I don't know what got over me. I love you more then ever. I love you so much more. Thank you for being you. Anybody else would be long gone. But your still here holding on to me. Thank you for being so patient with me. Please don't ever mention you and that SOB in one sentence. I never thought like that. How can you even think that way? I'm sorry for making you feel as such. Please forgive me." Saying she moved her face close to his and kissed him gently.

He was very conscious and cautious as if not to make her feel uncomfortable. Not to go beyond what she's comfortable with. Not to get carried away. She felt completely safe and content in his arms. He kept on soothing her hair. He asked Astha, what she told the girls. She said that the girls were fast asleep. As soon as Shanthi had come home she told her that she was needed at the Hospital for an emergency. Astha knew that the kids won't even know that she's gone. Astha told Shlok that she needs to be back home early morning. Shlok promised Astha, she'll be dropped off at her place on time. Happy and content she drifted into a blissful slumber.

Shlok didn't want to sleep. He just kept looking at Astha sleeping so innocently in his arms. His t-shirt sleeve was wet. He realised that it was her tears. Shlok gently kissed her eyes, making sure not to disturb her sleep. He wondered how she endured all those lonely nights of suffering without anybody to console her. His heart ached for his Astha. Shlok thought just how strong willed and mentally tough she really is to have gone through everything she did and to be still have a positive approach towards life. He kissed her hair, her hands, her cute nose. He didn't know how or what he should do to show her how much he really loves her. Astha stirred a bit when he kissed her face. He loved having her in his arms. It was the best feeling ever. Everything he ever wanted was right there in his arms. She was his most precious possession. Nothing or no one can ever change that.

Shlok had kept an alarm for 6 o'clock. When his phone started to buzz, he quickly reached for the phone. Not wanting to disturb Astha. But before he could the buzzing stopped. When he opened his eyes Astha was awake and sitting next to him on the edge of the bed looking at him. She was all ready to go. Shlok tried to get off the bed. But Astha stopped him. Hugged him and said "Good morning Shlok! Thank you for last night" looked at him and was about to kiss his cheek when he kissed her on her lips.

When they stopped, both were out of breath. "This is the best morning of my life. Thank you for trusting me jaan! This is the first step. We will get there soon enough. Don't worry. This is how I want my every morning to be like. I love you so much Astha." Saying he embraced her once again. They stayed like that for few more minutes.

Then Astha reminded Shlok that she needs to get back. She called Shanthi to check on the girls. They were still fast asleep having gone to sleep late than usual. Shlok ordered tea for them and got off the bed to have a bath and a change. He walked out of the bathroom wearing just a pair of blue jeans and his upper body bare and still dripping with water.

Astha, blushed seeing him. She looked away. But Shlok walked up to her kissed her cheek from behind. She instinctively turned towards him and embraced him. She liked his fresh fragrance. Her sences were being aroused. His masculine body was making her feel things that she's never felt before. Feelings or are they desires? She wasn't sure. Isn't it the same. She wanted to feel his warmth, his touch more and more. She was yearning for her man. For the first time in her life she wanted to be caressed, held, touched by a man. And it was Shlok. She wanted to throw caution to the wind and and let her desires take over.

Shlok felt her changing desires. He could feel her body and soul react to his touch, his presence. The way she held him, the way she breathed, the way she touched him. When she finally looked at him, her eyes and face said it all. He saw raw desire and passion in her eyes. If he didn't know better, he would've had her right then and there. He wanted to make sweet passionate love to her until she forgets her past. But he didn't want to rush her. It was not the place nor the time. He wanted it to be very special. She knew it too.

They returned to reality when there was knock on the door. It was room service. Shlok very reluctantly moved away from her and opened the door.

Astha made tea for both of them and they sipped it without breaking eye contact. After they were done with their staring session she very softly said "Shlok I need to get back to the kids". Today I'll be working till 6 o'clock. Will you come over for dinner. I want you and the kids to spend much time together as possible before you go back"

Is it just the kids, what about the their mother? Doesn't she like to spend as much time with me? He said teasingly. Took both her hands in his and kissed each with love while saying "Even if you hadn't asked me to come, I would've come over there myself. I'm gonna miss you and the girls so much Astha!" He reached for her and hugged her tightly.

"We'll miss you more. You have your whole family waiting for your return. We have only each other. Come back for us soon" she said trying to hold back her tears.

"You and the girls are my family now. I have nothing if I don't have my girls with me. I promise you! I'll be back for you and the girls ASAP. I can't live with out you. I'd die if your not in my life"

He kissed her once more pouring his love for her into that kiss. She really needed to get back. She insisted he stay back. But he wouldn't hear any of it. She gave in. He wiped her tears with his fingers. And they were making their way back.

He didn't get out, she quickly got out of the cab after giving him a quick peck on his cheek. He said he'll pick her from the the hospital after work in the evening.

She was looking at the time constantly. She couldn't wait till she sees him again. There was something burning within her since the morning. She was blushing just at the thought of Sholk. Images of half naked Shlok kept on flashing in her mind. She could still remember his fragrance. It seemed to linger everywhere she went. She was burning with desire for the one she loves. She wanted to loose herself in him. She wanted to be his in every way, mind body and soul. She was ready to give herself to him. To be made his.

She was making plans in her head. How she's gonna make it memorable for both of them. She's not gonna be bold. It's too early for that. She wanted their first time to be something that neither one will ever forget. Special and romantic. She was not bold enough to buy exotic lingerie or put on a seductive act for him. But she was just going to give herself to the one man who truly loves her with all her flaws.
